Impressive, Glenn! The Shape Of Jazz To Come was the record that first enraptured me. That and his song Lonely Woman. Yeah, he plays shows, but he doesn't go on any extended tours anymore. One of the last of the living old skool giants. Only Sonny Rollins and a few others remain. For some reason I always pictured him as 5-11 or so. glenn says on 14/Jan/09
my spelling is superb compared to some,true.but i shock myself sometimes.like below.when im tired,i dont know what im writing.the best is when i write hear,when i meant here.i saw danimal do that once.or something like it.mistakes long ago on the site is my lack of education.nowadays,its being tired,no spellcheck,word memory on my phone adding words,and just plain typing on a smartphone not knowing how to use caps makes me look dumb.i wonder who your refering to? dmeyer use to drive me bananas.
