Just because there are 12 inches in a foot doesn't mean average height is 5'6". How would you explain men's height?

hey erm, the average height is not actually 5"4 - 5"5 1/2 its actually 5"6, because if you think about it, there's 12 inches in a foot & half of 12 is 6, so the average height to stop growing is actually 5"6.

in the second-to-last episode of ER's twelfth season, in the scene where she comes out the elevator and meets Chuny & Sam, you can see she's noticeably shorter - by a couple of inches at least - than Linda Cardellini who is only 5'3". so she's definitely no more than 5'2".....and i'd guess she's round about exactly 5'1".

Yea, initially parminder's height was stated to be around 5'2.5"....but it has dropped...in several interviews it has her listed down from 5'1.5" to as low as 5ft. In my opinion, lets just say she looks closer to 5'1 than she does to 5'3". I think the reason she can appear to be around 5'3 is because she's not exceedingly skinny with petite slim bone-frame. This creates the illusion she's slighter bigger than she is. But, i've never met her...it's just my conclusion.

you should know what youre talking about before you state something as fact, seriously do you even LIVE in the us? have you looked around? 5'2" is not in any way average height...

uhhh i doubt she's 5 ft 2.5.. she looks more like 4'11. and lovely tom, 5 feet 2 is really not short for white/black girls. the av height in usa in 5'2 for a girl.. in canada its 5'3 supposedly. so i guess a lot of short people are out there.

i love parminder. but on the official site they say "barely 5 feet 2 inches (actually 5'1.5")", which was the height you had before. and in bend it like beckham she was definitely six inches shorter than kiera. i am an indian girl, and actually 5'1.5" is pretty close to average height for an indian girl, for white or black girls, very short.

That picture has been tampered with. PN is barely over 5ft and has admitted so on more than one occasion.

[Editor Rob: the main parminder site I don't know if they are quoting her, but they do say "Barely 5 feet 2 inches". Maybe I'm forgetting she sometimes wears bigger shoes than tierney etc on ER]
