@Sandy Cowell. I do get a number if comments likening me to Paul. I’d say he’s better looking than me, I’m more rugged !
But I am pretty similar.
I went into the bank a couple of years ago and two tellers were giggling. I had to ask, they said “It’s East London’s answer to Paul Hollywood”. So there we are !

I got a good look at him on that Aston Maritn documentary he did a few months back and yeah, no way he's close to 5 ft 10. This is about right, maybe 172.

I am really surprised. I watch the "British Baking Show" regularly and he always appeared to me as in the 5' 10" range.

Never seen the Bake Off and have only ever glimpsed him on TV and never standing with anybody so I suppose I did think he was probably 5'10-6ft range so it does surprise me this low. 2.5 inches is some exaggeration!. He looks a thick set fellow who can take care of himself. Is he really not Italian parentage though? He looks very similar to a lot of Italians in northern Italy.
