I went to madam tussads last weekend and if the wax works are to scale - she is quite small. she was about my height wearing heels - I am 5ft 4.5" bare foot and was wearing uggs - giving me about half an inch. her heels were at leats 3" so id say she is about 5'2ish...very petite in frame too...definetely nothing like on TV.... she's a solid 1.5 - 2 inches shorter than 5'4.5 demi moore (look to where they both come up to on 6'2 Ashton to compare). i'd say she's 5'2 - 5'3 ish. I've also read articles where her friends refer to her as "little Pene" - 5'4 is not short, it's average, so she'd have to be 5'3 or shorter to be referred to as "little."

These comments are insane... Look at this photo: Matthew is taller than her for about 15 cms (his height is 183 cm - 6feet). So: 183-15=168! Probably shorter than 168cm, but definitely taller than 163cm.

I agree, Anonymous. I think she's probably 5'2 and a half. In the pics with Shakira, she looks about an inch taller, putter her at 5'2.5 and she looks an inch or so shorter than Helen Mirren, putting her around 5'2.5-5'3 again. I think she should be down-graded soon:) it's funny though, these celebs heights can be very tricky to sort out because of camera angles and lighting. I think she's a little unders 5'4. I've seen many shots of her and actress Helen Mirren, who seems to be a legit 5'4 herself at an awards ceremony together and Penelope looks at least an inch shorter, consistantly.

Carmen Maura, seen in this pic with Penelope, is listed as 5'3". They are the same height here (minus Pen's big hair)....but if you look at the next link...and see their footwear, you'll see that Penelope is wearing 4 inch heels, while Carmen is wearing 1" heels.

More proof that she's probably shorter than 5'4". Here she is looking very petite next to a 6'0" tall Ryan Gosling. Judging my the pic of her 3 1/2 inch heels....and subtracking her big hair, she looks about 7 inches shorter than Gosling, which puts her at about 5'2-5'3" without the heels.

She is 1'60. This 1'68 was her caracter in a film. She is in the short side, but in Spain plenty of girls measure about 1'60. It's quite average. She didn't look tall in "all about my mother". Some of the actresses on the movie like Cecilia Rot and Candela Peņa are quite short too (Candela is less than 1'50) that's why she looked taller.
