How tall is Perry Como

My wife & I were just watching a Doris Day television special on AMC (Sunday April 3rd, 2022), and Perry Como is one of the many people she performs with on the program. (By the way, Doris Day may have been putting on an act, but it seemed to us that she was crazy about him). Anyway, you could see Doris Day was wearing flats and Perry Como was wearing typical men's dress shoes. She was standing close to him and they kissed a couple of times. Perry Como appeared to be only about a half-inch taller than 5'6" Doris Day. He also seemed slightly built - no more than 140 lbs, compared to Doris Day who about 120 in those days. A great singer and a very relaxed,smooth guy. My wife said, "No wonder my grandmother loved him so much..."

I'd like to believe that in his younger days, Perry was nearer 5ft8, because the caddy who wrote in saying this must have had many a good look!

I will go for 5ft7!

I caddied for Perry long ago... He was more like 5'8 at the time.

I caddied for Perry for quite a few years. He was about 5'7". A much nicer individual in person than he was on tv, truly humble and not impressed by himself. AND.. a good golfer.. :)

Here's me with Perry in 1976 - I am 5' 7". What a great guy! Just as nice as you'd think, based on his public persona.

I was watching a show with him a couple of days ago, and I guessed his height right on! I seem to have a talent when it comes to guessing height! He looked pretty short standing next to Bob Hope, although i don't know how tall Bob Hope is. I love Perry Como, and think him to be extremely talented. I can't believe he's only half an inch taller than me.
