I stood next to Tarantino by chance in front of the Omni hotel in Austin, TX. I was immediately struck by how tall he was. (I am 6ft.) He is a very large dude, with big hands and a big head. 6'1 is not accurate. I'd say his own quoted height of 6'5 is a LOT closer to the mark. My old post on Tarantino... I need to correct this, since my friend who stood next to him was measured at 185-186cm recently and Tarantino looked noticably smaller, I would say 184cm tops. He may have been taller back in the day, but he wasn't in 2005.
And I'm about 5'10.75" (which I secretly upgrade to 5'11" hoping that nobody notices :þ) and Eli Roth was a bit taller, less than an inch taller though.

I just met hime and spoke with him for 10 minutes here in a special triple Kung-Fu feature in Iceland. He was maybe 6'1, my 6'1.5 friend (187cm exactly) stood right next to him and he was noticably taller than Quentin, he also noticed it. I'm 5'11, Eli Roth was there and he was my size, couldn't see exactly how tall but definately in the 5'11 range. But Quentin is definately smaller than 187cm, probably 184cm or 185. I saw him at the Grid House premiere here in Austin where it was filmed. He was wearing cowboy boots that gave in about an inch and was right about 6'1 to 6'1 1/2. One thing that I noticed just as I was looking at some photos of Tarantino is that he's a pretty big guy, girth-wise! Did he gain weight in the last few years or was he always that sturdy? As far as height, I vaguely remember a Rolling Stone article in where the writer said something to the effect of "Tarantino is actually more than 6 feet yet doesn't appear like he is". I used to work at the Arclight theater in Hollywood, and I've stood right next to the guy, with the express purpose of trying to figure out how tall he is. I'm exactly 5'11" and I'd say he's 2-3 inches taller than me, and that 6'2" sounds about right to me.
