I think he is 5'10" (178 cm), because I saw him once and he was about my height (175 cm). He was just 2-3 cm taller.

You know I'm starting to think all the heights on this sight are totally WAY OFF --there is no way f'n Ralph Fiennes is 5'11 if as you've also listed Gerard Butler is only 6'1!!! Gerard in all these pics looks at least 3 inches taller than Ralph --so either Gerard is 6'2-6'3 OR Ralph Fiennes is probably 5'10 --I'm inclined to believe that Gerard Butler is really tall cause he looks it. Check any of these pics --where in fact similar footwear but Gerard is slouching while Ralph is straight and Gerard STILL looks 3 inches taller! Click Here

I met him very briefly. I'd say 5'11" is spot on when he's out of character but can slouch heavily when acting.

The height thing is intentional in Schindler's List. That film is very carefully made so it's not a coincidence that an average guy looks so tall and Neeson looks like an absolute giant. I don't know if it was lifts or careful positioning and camera angles. It's symbolic, especially when Schindler falls on his knees and is surrounded by the Jews, being figuratively and literally on the same level, in the same situation they were.

Fiennes looked over 6 ft in Schindler's list, like around 6'2". I guess he must have been wearing huge boots with lifts in them. All of the German/Nazi actors (like Liam Neeson) in that movie looked really tall compared to the Jewish actors.

i am not sure about 5'11 but he has a better chance of being 5'11 than brad pitt or george clooney.
