If this kid hasn't grown since this picture was taken, I am pretty sure he is somewhere between 5'5" and 5'6". So this guess makes sense to me.

Mugshots can be tricky. Some times they don't measure you up when you get arrested, they just write what you tell them.

I heard that line too and was thinking that for it to be written in as part of the show he must be pretty small. He looks small on tv and you know everyone lookes bigger on tv than in person.

I always thought it was absurd that AJ was so much shorter than his dad Tony. But now Tony has shown his anger about it as well: 'I couldn't even hit him if I wanted to, he's so f***ing little!!! It's Carmela's side of the family!'.

Watching him this season, he does seem to have a grown a little bit, and he has begun to lose his baby fat. I might go as high as 5-7.
