Precisely, last night I was watching an X-Files episode featuring Adam Baldwin & Robert Patrick (the episode is called "Per Manum", the 13th of season 8). There is a scene in which they are both standing and walking side by side, wearing similar dress shoes.
Rob, I'm telling you, Baldwin literally DWARFS Patrick in that scene. I thought he was massive, like 6' 5'' to 6' 6''. Then I checked his listing and pictures here and realized he's 6' 4''.
I am 5' 11.5'' and my brother in law is 6' 4''. Believe me, there is not such a big height difference between us... at least not like between Baldwin and Patrick, which is really outstanding.
If Robert Patrick was wearing boots in this picture you took with him, he must be 5' 10.5'' (179 cm) tops nowadays. I even seriously doubt he was ever 5' 11.5'' in his peak.
Please, Rob, take a look at this picture of Baldwin & Patrick together. I know is very small, but it can give you a good idea of what I'm talking about:

Regarding Mitch Pileggi's height, here you got a picture of Robert Patrick, Nicholas Lea (in dress shoes) and Pileggi (in boots). It seems obvious that 6' 1'' Lea beats both of them, so Pileggi must be 5' 11.5'' o 6'' at the most:

I've seen him in several episodes and he looks just slighly shorter than Mitch Pileggi, who is listed at 6' 1'' here. If there really is a 2 inches difference between the both of them, it would be a lot more noticeable.

If you've got a peak/current height listing for Robert Patrick surely you could warrant having a current height listing for guys like Richard Gere and Bruce Willis who are older than Patrick and more obviously have lost height???

My uncle paid me a visit, he is a quarter of an inch shorter than me 6'0.5", he told me he was 5-10 but when I measured him he was 6'0.5" tall, he looks taller than me because he is very skinny. I am 6'0.75" out of bed and a half an inch shorter by the end of the day. Robert Patrick could pull off the illusion of appearing taller than Schwarzenegger because of his lean build. But Arnie is definitely taller, Arnie was 6'2" in his prime body building years, and men lose about a half an inch of height after the age of 40 because the cartilage in the body wears away after that age. I don't think he was ever 5'11.5" to be honest, never really got the impression that he was just shy of the 6' mark. Remember he was easily between 1"-2" shorter than 6' - 6'0.5" tops Duchovny in X-Files around 2001-2002, when he was in his 40s and most likely still at his peak height. At peak Robert is for sure 182 cm, 186-187 cm Arnie was 4-5 cm taller in T2.
Looks 181 cm next to legit 183 cm Meloni in one episode of SVU in 2005, so lost ~1 cm at 47. I'm surprise that Robert lost near 2 cm, he's only 52 now.
