In Ability Magazine he commented upon his height, saying "[Arnie is] about my size. I'm 6 feet, 208 pounds. I think he's about 6 foot 1. When we were making the movie he was about 195 pounds". In 2016 he also claimed 5'11 and also mentioned he was 165 lbs in T2. In this photo he had a fraction thicker footwear than me.

@Rob I still don't agree with a peak of 5ft 11¼in. I've recently rewatched a few scenes of him in Terminator 2 and it kinda looked like he was at Schwarzenegger's eye level. Van you still argue for a 5ft 11½in? I can see him at a 5ft 10¾in currently, however.

I did think there was a decent chance, but it's conceivable he went from strong 5ft 11 to weak 5ft 11.

I could see Arnold as around 215 pounds back in T2 but he had a significant advantage over Patrick who was quite slender at that time, I’d guess 175 tops as well as rounding up slightly his own height.

i have been doing bodybuilding for so many years that i am pretty good at looking at bodyfat and weight on guys. If you look at behind the scenes photos of arnold then you can clearly see that he wanst really that muscular in terminator 2. Big and musculur to the normal guys eye but not the size he seemed to be in the movie. Look here Click Here
If arnold was 185 cm tall then it looks like he weight about 205-210 pounds. Robert patrik isnt that far off when he said 195 pounds.I can promise you that he was never more than 215 at most at the time. The thing is most people dont think about bodyfat. Arnold looks to be down to maybe 10 procent bodyfat during that time and when youre bodyfat is that low you always look mutch heavier than you really are if you have a decent amount of muscles on you. Robert patrik probably weight about 170 pounds in terminator 2. at about 181 cm. If arnold would have had normal bodyfat at about 20 procens then he would have weight about 230 during that time. I know when i was at my biggest 131 kg and my bodyfat was around 19 rpocent people guesses me about 130 kg then when i trimmed down to 8, 8 procent body fat meaning that i have lost 15 kg in bodyfat and was about 115 kg and barely had any fat on my body but most of the muscells was still left, people still guessed my weight about 120-125 kg. They didnt realise how mutch fat really weight from just being normal to down to very low bodyfat. And just to clarify most people think you have like 8 procent bodyfat if you can see your abs, in reality you can have 12-13 procent bodyfat and still see your abs. A nomrla guy that have flat stomach but no visilbe abs often think " my bodyfat must be like 11 procent because i can almost see my abs but in reality the guy probably have around 15 procent.People are fooled by hollywood when they read stuff like " Ben affleck gained 25 pounds of muscles and got down to 8 procent bodyfat to play batman" I know how he looked before and after. i would say in reality it was like this" he was probably around 20 procent bodyfat before batman ( he was a little more out of shape then he used to be, he usually are in better shape then the average guy) and then when they were shooting batman he was maybe down to 13 procent bodyfat and gained maybe 5 pounds of muscles.

When Arnold was an active bodybuilder, once he was measured by his colleges during training and he was barefooted and he was measured as 6 feet and 1,5 inches so this is about 1,87cm and after hard training and in the morning early hom tall could he have been? About 1,89cm and even more. Well he definitely had looser posture than myself but also had half an inch of more footwear, he had a good boot like his military characters wear. So balanced out i'd say he was 5'11 on the nose. I have a relatively small head for my height also.

after rewachting x-files also when he was 42 years old , he was 5'11 max near Duchovny who was clearly one inch and half taller for me . For me his peak was 5'11 1/4 or 181 cm when he was young and 6'0 1/4 for Duchovny or 183,5 cm .Today he is no more than 5'10.5 for me.

If there was only half inch then it would have been hard to see who was the taller one. It was always very clear that david was taller in the x-files.

I met him back in 1992 and flat out asked him what his height and weight was for T2. He said "6 feet and about 160". I am 6 foot even without shoes on and he looked a tad bit shorter than me and wearing similar shoe thickness. So, I would agree with 5'11" and a lot heavier than 160 today. Just watched "bust out" from Sopranos. He and Tony were standing together, probably same footwear on(dress shoes). If Gandolfini is listed at 6'05" I would say Patrick is 2" shorter 5' 10.5" range. Of course this is on TV but didn't look like weird cam angle.

Precisely, last night I was watching an X-Files episode featuring Adam Baldwin & Robert Patrick (the episode is called "Per Manum", the 13th of season 8). There is a scene in which they are both standing and walking side by side, wearing similar dress shoes.
Rob, I'm telling you, Baldwin literally DWARFS Patrick in that scene. I thought he was massive, like 6' 5'' to 6' 6''. Then I checked his listing and pictures here and realized he's 6' 4''.
I am 5' 11.5'' and my brother in law is 6' 4''. Believe me, there is not such a big height difference between us... at least not like between Baldwin and Patrick, which is really outstanding.
If Robert Patrick was wearing boots in this picture you took with him, he must be 5' 10.5'' (179 cm) tops nowadays. I even seriously doubt he was ever 5' 11.5'' in his peak.

Precisely, last night I was watching an X-Files episode featuring Adam Baldwin & Robert Patrick (the episode is called "Per Manum", the 13th of season 8). There is a scene in which they are both standing and walking side by side, wearing similar dress shoes.
Rob, I'm telling you, Baldwin literally DWARFS Patrick in that scene. I thought he was massive, like 6' 5'' to 6' 6''. Then I checked his listing and pictures here and realized he's 6' 4''.
I am 5' 11.5'' and my brother in law is 6' 4''. Believe me, there is not such a big height difference between us... at least not like between Baldwin and Patrick, which is really outstanding.
If Robert Patrick was wearing boots in this picture you took with him, he must be 5' 10.5'' (179 cm) tops nowadays. I even seriously doubt he was ever 5' 11.5'' in his peak.

Editor Rob I do think it is possible for some 50 year old guys to have lost a cm, maybe injuries, developing slightly curvature of spine are culprits. I have the x-files boxset, one day I will do a rerun of it as I missed chunks of the show.

If you've got a peak/current height listing for Robert Patrick surely you could warrant having a current height listing for guys like Richard Gere and Bruce Willis who are older than Patrick and more obviously have lost height???

Remember he was easily between 1"-2" shorter than 6' - 6'0.5" tops Duchovny in X-Files around 2001-2002, when he was in his 40s and most likely still at his peak height. He was probably no more than a flat 5'11 at his tallest, and maybe around 5'10.5" now if he's shrunk at all, might still be 5'11 since he's only 52.
