When you have a chance checkout the new P.F. book by Nick Mason, veddy intewesting pic of the Floy'd gang playing "football" and Roger is suprisingly not too far above heighthwise then everbody else - looks maybe 6-1 in the team pic. don't have page #, but intrewsting book worth checking out. Very funny, Alex. But when Roger sang that phrase he meant if the wall needed to be so high (mother did it need to be so high?). The wall her mother built around him to protect Roger (his father died in the WW II before he was born). Sad story. In the Final cut Roger deepens into that subject.

I think in many Pink FLoyd pictures he must be slouching because he doesn´t look much taller than the other members, who are around 5´11. A 6`4 guy will dwarf those guys. I think he must be around 6`2. Mr. T says on 17/Aug/06
He does have a very long head that would fit a 6'4" guy (reminds me of James Cromwell). Glenn said 6'2", but he does have weird posture that's not immediately noticable, especially involving his neck. I'll buy 6'3" completely straightened out now. ande says on 15/Aug/06

I've read 5'11" for Wright. As I've said before though, I can't really find a good picture with the whole group standing up straight on the same terrain, but if 6'4" for Waters and 5'11" for Wright are correct, I'd gather very roughly that Gilmour is 6'1-ish and Mason at being maybe 5'10"-5'11". I definitely look 6'4" in his younger years. David Gilmour and Syd Barrett are 5'11", Nick Mason is 5'9" and Rick Wright is 5'10". He was standing at least 4 inches taller than them so he's got to be taller than 6'2". Viper652 says on 13/Feb/06

Something doesn't make sense if Roger is between 6ft2 and 6ft4 if we are to believe Glenn about Clapton (from the Clapton page):

Clapton played guitar on Roger's 1984 tour as well as a few other occasions and Roger doesn't really look much taller in photos next to Clapton. If Clapton really only is the "5-9 and half tops" that Glenn claims, then how can Waters be in the 6'3 range? Something doesn't add up then. Tall Guy says on 11/Feb/06
I have heard somwhere that Rick Wright (also from Pink Floyd) is 5'11". When Roger and Rick stands beside each other, you can clearly see that Roger is 4-5 inches taller! I guess around 6'3-6'4. Anonymous says on 11/Feb/06
