I met shia back in June 2010 when he was filming transformers in a building that I worked at. I was so stoked when I saw him. I'm 5'9- I towered over him. Honestly he's no taller 5'7. Those of you who are saying Rosie was towering over Shia in T3. She was wearing heals in the entire movie other than the opening scene when Shia is in bed. Even when she was running around Chicago! Below are a couple pics that clearly show Shia a bit taller and she is obviously not wearing heals. Could Rosie be stretching her 5'9 frame or could she be more like 5'8 since models want to be taller. Check out pics of her and Jason, they are nearly the same height and Jason is pretty short. I date a model who is 5.9 and i am 5'11. She always wears 5'" heals and many of our friends think she is taller than me, then i make her take her heals off and bam, i am taller! Point is, you can't compare a man's height by comparing them standing to a woman. Most women wear heals.

Doubtful 5'9", I just saw the new Transformers movie, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley towers over him. at the others who tell they saw him at a set of a movie:
forget his height on the set! he wears always lifts for his new movies because he has to be taller for his roles( psychologic efect)... but for the character in disturbia he didnt have to wear lifts because there wasnt any pychologic effect which had to be filled up!

He could be 5ft9 though. He doesn't look short so frequently, at 5ft8 u look short most of the time, at 5ft7 you always look short. At 5ft9 you sometimes look short. At 5ft10+ you never look short. Of course, he works with Spielberg, maybe he met Cruise, and Tom gave him a few advices about his footwear. If Tom can live in lifts, maybe 'lil Shia can as well. I am a huge Shia fan and have probably seen about a million pictures of him. He can look as short as 5'6" and as tall as 5' 11" depending on the angle and who he is with. My guess would be 5' 7".
However, the only thing that makes me think he might be close to the 5'9" estimate are the pictures of him and his old girlfriend, China Brezner. She states her height repeatedly at 5' 5"(which I believe because she isn't in the industry so no need to lie about the height and she doesn't look too short or too tall) and in every picture of him and her (in candid's, so no lifts) he towers over her. Like 3 or 4 inches more than her.
