Rob, I just read your comment today but "it makes my day"! The themes you mention are among the best ever. Ron Grainer wrote both the Prisonner and man in a suitcase I would add the persuaders and of course, the Avengers (the champions are great too!)
As for Steve Forrest, he was probably taller than 6'3. Appers so in many movies and TV shows next to tall actors as Jhon Wayne (the longest day).

6´2/3" sounds O.k.. Reminds me of Moore, but 2" taller.

Steve is (was) definitely 6'3. Lord, he was such a dreamboat: handsome, sexy, athletic and big. I enjoyed him in The Baron and his brief stint on Dallas, as someone else stated, he kept himself very well put together beyond his fifties.

He was a good two inches taller than 6'0.5" Karl Malden in a movie made in 3-D.
It was based VERY loosely on Poe's "Murder in the Rue Morgue. Can't seem to access movie title from brain.

I think he looked more like 2 inches taller than Elvis - 3 max. Certainly not 4.

Brother of actor Dana Andrews. Forrest did at least 3 episodes of Gunsmoke. Towered over everone except Arness, of course. Had a very deep voice. Handsome, broad shouldered man. Appeared to be 6'3" to 6'4" easily. Good actor. Was also in "Flaming Star" with Elvis. Easily 3 to 4 inches taller than the "King".

OH yeah! no doubt he at least "was" (because he's old now) 6'3;
i remember an episode of "the fugitive" he was in and how he towered not short David Janssen, a good 6' tall man.
Steve Forrest was in addition, a very strapping man even after 55;
A very good actor with a strong character and a nice personality; he deserved a better carrier than he got.
