I drank in the same boozer as him for years, stood next to him at the urinal on more than one occasion. I'm 6'2" and he'd come up to about my chin, so 5'5" or 6" would be about right. Never really spoke to him that much, but there was something about him that I found pleasing, dunno what, his face or his grey stubble or his voice or something. Always made me smile.

I have met him in person as I was audtioning on guitar for the sammy johnson stuff even shook my hand and had a chat with him he is no more then 5ft3. He was a few inches past my shoulder just past my chin up to my lips etc I am 5ft10 inches

I saw him jaked out on Princes St during the festival in Edinburgh 2006 and he's about 5'4ish as the lampost he was hanging off was at least 7ft.
