Actually when comparing nose levels eye levels and so on I would say much more chances for 5'9.5".The reason why he gives that near 5'10 impression is because his hair level is clearly too high (check how big his forehad looks).

Editor Rob to the end of his nose is about 2 inches, considering my eyes are near 0.75 inch above I'd say eyelevel difference was 1.25 there!

As I've never seen every episode of CSI, I don't know why his character used to be so unpopular. Based on the repeats I've seen, Hodges seems like a decent bloke. Remember: he took the rap for Wendy Simms after a practical joke she played went bad, at the cost of a black mark on his record. I think he was just poorly misunderstood, probably due to being socially awkward and a bit needy. I can empathize with that.
I'm glad they made him cooler in the long run.

lol at the 175cm claim below. Look at their eye-level and the differences in height. If he's 175cm that make Rob 170cm. A legit 178cm guy will have the eye-level half way across the forehead of a legit 173cm guy in pictures. He's pretty dang close to 178cm but not quite so 177cm is accurate listing.

I agree with his posture.He looks a legit 5'10" and has 2 inches easily over 5'8" Rob,as it seems.
If he was a flat 5'9" then Rob is 5'7",and I don't see that for either of them.
