Yeah well when he appeared in 'All of Us' in 2004 (about the same time he got pumped up for I Robot) he looked as low as 184cm with his bulky build. Sometimes having a bulky build can make people look taller but it makes will look shorter for sure.

I don't think Will is a legit 188cm guy, I think he can fluctatue between 187cm and 188cm and 6'2.25 is probably the very most he could be but I don't think he is on that mark. In 10 years time I reckon Will will probably be only 6'1.5 and not a full 6'2 anymore considering as well he tends to hunch and not have great posture a lot. Even though he always wore doc martin style boots on fresh prince, he always came up to the eyebrows of 6'4.5 James Avery. If you consider the shoes difference that would make him a weak 6'1.
He also looked the same height as 6'1 listed Brian Stokes Mitchell on fresh prince in spite of the fact that smith had a bit of a footwear advantage. And Brian is definitely 6'1 on the money because he appeared in frasier a few times as Frasier's neighbour Cam winston. And he and kelsey who is 6'1 looked the same height dead on.
So this is more proof that smith is a weak 6'1.
Also, 6'2.5 MC Gainey definitely had Smith by around 2 inches in Fresh prince and they were both in boots. Watch the episode "robbing the banks" for proof. The stand next to each other a few times and the difference in height between them is no way only half an inch.

Saw Men in Black today. Both Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith were wearing the same kind of shoes and I would say there looked a solid 1 inch between them. The difference could even be more considering Will Smith had a kind of shaven hairstyle in comparison to Tommy Lee Jones.
