6ft3 or even 6ft2.5 does seem a bit much if you look at Will Smith next to Vince Vaughn or Bill O'Reily or even Lennox Lewis. But yes his posture is bad next to them. Its odd though that he would slouch next to taller guys.

I think there used to be a picture on the Jeff Goldblum page, it was group photo of Tom Hanks, Will Smith, Morgan Freeman and Jeff Goldblum stood in a line. The weird thing is Goldblum towered all three including even 6ft2.5 Morgan Freeman. It wasn't a great picture though since the ground they were standing on could have been uneven. Someone should dig out the pic since it Will Smith is in it.

My cousin works behind the film in dressrooms.He helps dressing the actors he see them barefoot, so he said a lot of them are smaller in height, but height is important for the most of them.So a lot of them are rounding up their heights.It`s not forbidden and with shoes is each other taller.Glenn is absolutely right Tim Robbins and Goldblum are men who are really so tall and the have the tendence to downgrade their height.

Well this guy must have been wearing 3 inch lifts since the Fresh Prince days if he is only 5ft11-6ft. Theres no chance he is under 6ft realisticly, he is well over 6ft and he could be 188cm barefoot in fact.

In half those pics Will Smith seems to have very poor posture like he is leaning in. I guess you can't rule out the possibility of him wearing lifts?

True with poor posture he can look tallish. In the past people on this page have even said 5ft11 for Will Smith lol. In all of us though he really did look 6ft-6ft1!

Once again posture. Will almost never stands up straight. Both in person estimates put Will at 6'2"-6'2.5". He looks tall even with poor posture and those things can't be ignored.

In my opinion he's at least a weak 6'2'' because in most of the pics and films he seems to be that tall. I can't buy 6ft2.5 but I can buy6ft1.75 to 6ft2 because he really does look tall. A 6ft-6ft1 guy wouldn't look that tall. I know it by myself as I'm 6ft1/2. Also most sites have him at 6ft2...

Again I have to point out that Denzel Washington was on Jonathan Ross 2 years ago and he appeared around the same size compared to Ross as Will Smith does, yet in pictures Will always look taller than 184cm Denzel by 1.5 inchs.

You will see what I mean just type in Denzel Washington and Will Smith on google and you will see there is noticible the difference between the 2 actors.

Yes it is crazy Glenn. What do people expect you to do? Lie about what you saw to fit their estimates? If someone doesn't find Glenn to be a reliable judge of height or you still doubt his height then just keep quiet about it. Unfortunately some people find that too difficult, it would solve almost all the problems though.

I'd say the majority of the board, myself included appreciates you coming back and appreciates your pics and stories.

He can look at the most 6ft1 when he has poor posture and in Men in Black he looked at least an inch taller than Tommy Lee Jones who is in the 6ft range. Will Smith mostly looks taller than guys who are between 6ft-6ft1.
