Because he was always quite gangly in build I believed at one time he was 6'2"-6'3" but when I started to think about it he was always about 3 inches shorter than James Avery and Jeff Goldblum who I think were 6'4.5". And a flat 6'4" Goldblum would mean he was more 6'1" flat. I'm convinced though neither him or Carrey are under 6'1" that's extreme. i used too know a guy from argentina who used too be a major basketball player in england in the 90's... he was listed anywhere from 6'2 (188cm) too 6'5 (194cm) on various basketball sites.
