He had dinner in the restaurant I worked in, with Luke Perry & guests...I'd discouraged other tables from disturbing them, (y'know, autographs, intros, etc.,at least during their dinner!) until Jim Harbough, (S.D. Chargers) introduced himself and then several people at same table made a fuss...Luis Guzman showed up...and then the whole party just bolted out of there...I'm sure they didn't want any attention to their presence, just looking for a quiet, casual, dinner. Willie, in a hurry to leave with his friends, said "Thank you" with a big smile directed straight at me...but he forgot his sweatshirt/jacket, spotting him by our street entrance w/ the rest of the guys, I returned it to him..."I LOVE YOU!!!" he exclamed...a bit stunned, I replied, "That's a bit much, isn't it?"...He then said, "Oh, not this, but for before..." All the guys just smiled and I think they knew I was trying to keep everything low-key...perhaps they overheard me at another table? Well, anyway, we all exchanged "Thanks" and "Goodnight". I was certainly close enough...and I'm pretty sure he was 5 ft. 8 in., the same as me. I do believe they're in the area filming something for HBO. From the way they bolted outta there, I don't think they'll be back...to bad I didn't give Willie my business card! I'd love to just sit and chat with him someday!
