I have seen listings of 5'4" for her. 5'7" is if you include high heels

Rob can you squeeze in Anna Christie, Emma, The Patsy, The Vagabond Lover and Politics?

Rob, real surprised you have her here. I just came here to ask for her, guessing you've seen Dinner at Eight. Or was it going through the Best Actress list and adding her and seeing she won it for Min and Bill? She could look close to 5 ft 8 at times, I wouldn't be surprised if the 5 ft 7 was a slight downgrade actually. In her era a woman near 5 ft 8 was undesirable for roles with men.
Editor Rob: she was one of the few missing from that list. In that era 5ft 7 could be like 5ft 9 today.

Yeah, a monstrous height for a woman of her generation LOL...not really, but something close to the equivalent of a 5'10"+ woman today and not many women of her heaviness and large build do you see in leading roles today. Had to be a bit hurtful for her to here descriptions like "grizzly bear"..
