Nike Turbo Shox V+ are an iteration of the Shox running shoe, which Nike first introduced in 2001. With hollow foam columns providing support, they help absorb impact energy when running and walking.

In terms of heel height, these are one of Nike's bigger Shox models. I measured a brand new pair as giving 3.5-3.6cm of height, or around 1.4 inches. That's a considerable boost to your height.
