Hey Rob! How tall do you think Liza Koshy is? She claims to be 5'0 but I don't think she's being specific... Google lists her as 5'4 but I think she's shorter than that. If David Dobrik is really what he claims to be (5'10) than she's way shorter than 5'4. Look at their height difference.

I can't see him at 6'9". He was listed 6'9" when he played basketball, but pretty much all bball heights are with shoes included. Probably 6'7.5" barefoot and 6'8.75" with shoes, rounded to 6'9"

If you say that Vitaly looked the same height as him or taller, he might be giving a shoe height because I doubt Vitaly is taller than his current listing and, if anything, there's quite a good chance he's shorter than that, IMO!

There's a difference between looking 187 and actually being 187 (footwear, angle, posture and ground level all come into play). I might've gone a bit far by saying it was a joke, but guessing his height with just a few photos isn't good enough.

Also as for AngryPicNic...I'm not sure he'd measure the full 5'8....Or even the full 5'7....but 5'7 is a good place to start him at as he can look near 9 inches shorter than Daws and more than 7 inches shorter than Juan

It's funny, when describing tall people, others tend to add an inch to the tall person's claim sometimes! With that BigDaws guy, he looks more like between 6'3" and 6'4" than his 6'5" claim. But I've seen comments where people say something to the effect of "That Daws guy whose like 6'6"." Even though he doesn't even look a full 6'5", people still up and inch when describing him as a tall guy. I don't think he ever claimed 6'6" either.

A giant but well short of his claim. If he's a strong 6'8, then he could wake up well over 6'9 though, so claiming 6'10 isn't insane.

Yeah lol, I'm pretty sure there are some honest joes out there. I noticed lots of guys who are around my height range, claiming to be 5'10" or 5'11". No wander people don't know what real 5'9" men look like anymore lol. Since a majority of people like to do the 1 or 2-inch rule.

But I certainly would be very comfortable when saying 5ft 8, not 5ft 10, I'd know I was lying and some guy on alternativecelebheights.com would argue I was 2 inches under my claim!

I think that Youtube personalities are a truly fascinating study of height awareness. What we should have learned from this site is that a vast majority of people at the very least round up generously (5'7.25 becomes 5'8) and in many cases add at least 1 full inch to their actual heights, except for extremely tall people, who might actually be inclined to do the opposite. Youtubers are no different. Whatever most of these people claim, you can safely deduct at least 1 and in some cases over 2 inches off their number. "Imma guess bout 5'9"? So that's an admission that you're under 5'8." Thanks for the confirmation.

Editor Rob Michael, generally the taller the person the lower the overall pitch. It is a small change for every few inches taller.
But people generally associate a lower pitched voice with a taller person.
When you add in videos where half of them you are sitting and your head is quite big, it can give an impression of being taller than you are.
Although, in photos, if you have a bigger head it will alter your proportions and you can end up seeming shorter in photos...it is an advantage to have a small head.

In this picture we can see he is as tall as Andrés Iniesta, and somewhat taller than 5'6" Xavi. Sergio Ramos, for instance, is listed at 6', and looks way taller next to Mata than KSI. I'd say KSI is between 5'9.5 and 5'10".

In this video (Click Here) we can see "elrubius", who has claimed 190cm or 6' 3" several times, with 6' 1.75" Chris Pratt and 5' 7.5" Jennifer Lawrence (on 4-5 inch heels). We can also see Mangel, whom I have seen listed at 5' 11". Elrubius and Mangel have both very bad postures, and Pratt has also some shoe advantage (maybe a quarter or half an inch), at least towards "elrubius".
I've seen "elrubius" in several videos with other people, and he has never looked a full 6' 3". There is a video in which we can see him holding the camera next to Pewdiepie, like the one with Fousey, and he doesn't look like what a true 6' 3" would look next to someone in the 5' 9" range (who looks even less, I'd say).
With all that, he still looks taller than Lawrence on huge heels, that might make her stand at 5' 11" or 6', but doesn't look close to 6' 2" Pratt. I'd say he is 6' 1". He is noted for giving a very tall impression in real life, but maybe his lanky physique and small head add to that effect. I'd say Mangel is 5' 10", but I'm not sure.

Elrubius and Mangel have both very bad postures, and Pratt has also some shoe advantage (maybe a quarter or half an inch), at least towards "elrubius".
I've seen "elrubius" in several videos with other people, and he has never looked a full 6' 3". There is a video in which we can see him holding the camera next to Pewdiepie, like the one with Fousey, and he doesn't look like what a true 6' 3" would look next to someone in the 5' 9" range (who looks even less, I'd say).
With all that, he still looks taller than Lawrence on huge heels, that might make her stand at 5' 11" or 6', but doesn't look close to 6' 2" Pratt. I'd say he is 6' 1". He is noted for giving a very tall impression in real life, but maybe his lanky physique and small head add to that effect. I'd say Mangel is 5' 10", but I'm not sure.

The house i live in, i measured it and my doorframe is about 6'9", while the top is 6'11" (We both live in Canada btw, if that does something). But then again, i think his 6'5" claim is pretty close enough. Not all doorframes are the same size. I'm not sure about WolfieRaps. WolfieRaps' head doesn't even touch the door frame as he walks through it. A doorframe is 6'8" with the inside of it being 6'4", and he seems to stand about 1 - 2 inches below it.

Youtubers usually don't let themselves be seen around with high-profiled people, but Pewdiepie has.
One of the earliest times he let himself be seen was with Rhett and Link, who claim respectively, 6' 7'' and 6', and it's quite believable to me: they certainly look big.
Here is the video: Click Here Although we never see them all standing up, it seems quite clear that if Pewdiepie was 5' 11, he would have a similar presence to Link, who could even be 5' 11.5'', but he looks much smaller. Nor Pewdiepie neither Link seem like guys who work out.

Pewdiepie is definitely not 180cm. It doesn't seem like he even hits 175cm.
Jacksepticeye claims 175cm aka 5'9" here Click Here - I'm not even sure he hits that, but assuming he was being legitimate then that makes Pewds about 1cm shorter judging purely by this photo Click Here - assuming they are both on the same level/shoe size. But there are certainly other photos to suggest Pewds under or around the 5'9" range. One thing is definitely clear -- he isn't 5'10" or over.
I remember him mentioning how he was "really short as a kid" and he was made fun of. It's definitely an insecurity he has -- which I relate to.
In Sweden the national average for a male is TALL around 6ft 183cm, so for him to up himself to nearer that mark for respect reasons is quite understandable.

Pewdiepie is definitely not 180cm. It doesn't seem like he even hits 175cm.
Jacksepticeye claims 175cm aka 5'9" here Click Here - I'm not even sure he hits that, but assuming he was being legitimate then that makes Pewds about 1cm shorter judging purely by this photo Click Here - assuming they are both on the same level/shoe size. But there are certainly other photos to suggest Pewds under or around the 5'9" range. One thing is definitely clear -- he isn't 5'10" or over.
I remember him mentioning how he was "really short as a kid" and he was made fun of. It's definitely an insecurity he has -- which I relate to.
In Sweden the national average for a male is TALL around 6ft 183cm, so for him to up himself to nearer that mark for respect reasons is quite understandable.
Rob, with almost 50 million subscribers, surely Pewdiepie is worthy of his own celebheights page?

Adapt literally claimed 5'11 so if Rain or Blaziken were 6'3 then they would tower adapt. They do not lol. Rain claimed 6'3 and said adapt was like 6'1 so he was probably just boosting him to make himself taller. I met Tomska twice at Comiccon. He definitely was taller than I thought. From his videos, I always assumed him at around 5'8. I could definitely say around the 5'10 mark sounds about right for him.
