Rob,do you agree that he really resembles Mike Brant?I thought it was him before reading the name.
Btw how tall was that guy? He's listed at 187 and generally looked quite tall but I'm not sure on the mark.
Editor Rob: maybe a bit

Never knew he was that short. Got away with lots of tricks to inflate.

Wow that short?
Editor Rob: at least Andy was quite honest, many 5ft 6.5 guys have claimed to be 5ft 8 in the past 😏 🤔 🤥

Our buddy G might've missed the memo that you can be handsome, talented, and likeable while only being 5'6.5". Unfortunately, G is only one of those four things.

If Ringo was 5'7 then I would guess him no taller than 5'6...but I'm not sure Ringo was ever that tall...more like 5'6.5. I would say Andy was 5'5.5.

Andy Gibb was known as 'The Baby BeeGee' and, though he had a beautifully chiselled face and a voice to match one of his brothers, that's about where his luck came abruptly to and end. He was thrust into the limelight at a very early age; his brothers had their hit 'Run to Me' in 1967 when Andy was just 9 years old, so being the little brother of three major and soon to be immensely successful pop stars was all he ever knew.
Still in very early manhood when he had his first hit, nobody ever really thought about his height, as he was the original 'Pretty Boy', and likeable with it! Personally, I expected Andy to be 5ft8. I even saw it written down in one of my teenagers' magazines, so to see above that he openly admitted to being a rather diminutive 5ft6.5, I feel that writing as I did just now, that he was likeable, was entirely justifiable! Honesty and likeability do SO go hand in hand, and the trait of speaking the truth is like a precious commodity, and equally as rare!
Why then did this boy have to die so young? He had only turned thirty a matter of days before he was taken ill - on English soil - with some kind of heart infection, but the general consensus was that he would have pulled through had it not been for the fact that he had worn his heart out with cocaine and alcohol abuse. It was the year 1988, and those of us around back in those days with a sprinkling of knowledge of the celebrity world, were completely flummoxed to hear that he had dabbled to such a damaging degree. He was popular, successful and had at one time the love of gorgeous actress Victoria Principal. I believe she finished with him because of his drug-taking, but that came out after he died, if I remember rightly. She, too, was utterly devastated to hear the tragic news.
I am going to put 5ft6.5 for Andy. I reckon it will have been those who promoted him who tried to fob him off as 5ft8; daft really, because all the nicest 'Small Person' cliches applied to him! It's just a shame that this 'good thing' who did indeed come in a 'small package' didn't live a longer life to prove to the world that it was true.

Don't know who he is but insanely handsome guy! I am jealous I don't have such a nice jawline and luscious hair

Quick google search and his proportions look like a typical 5'6-7 ranger
