Why is it that in all his photos with Josh Pence, Josh looks no more than an inch shorter? I think the Winklevoss twins are around 6'4.5", shorter in normal posture, and Armie is 6'4.5" standing ABSOLUTELY RIGID as he likes to.

In this pic, 6'3" Josh Pence looks about Armie's height.

Looks massive here and does look 6'5". He can often look a lot shorter than that though, maybe he is just stood next to people who are quite tall themselves so doesn't look that big...

Granted he does look 6'4"-6'5" range in terms of proportions here.

He's 6'5", but what he says in the Social Network is not of any consequence as he's playing a character (well, two).

he says 6'5' and 220 pounds in the social network as well

He is 6'5", no less and probably a bit more. Case closed.

I saw Josh Pence the other night. Josh was the body double of the Winklevoss twins that Armie was not playing at the time. (I hope you all saw the movie cause even I was confused by what I just said.) Josh is about 6-3. Not quite the 6-5 of Armie. In all pics of them together, Armie is always about two inches taller.

I'd say he's a hair under 6'5".

Armie seems a solid 6'5" guy to me

I seriously think he's 6'4 or 6'5. He is really tall, we always think that when someone says he's 6'2 or 6'5, he's supposed to be a giant but you cannot always compare with pictures. 6'5 is good for him and he is JUST really tall.

If he isnt a full 6-5 hes very close to it. 6-4.5 at least.

This is a legitimately tall man who is AT LEAST as tall as he claims, and, yes, he very much seems to enjoy it and maximize every inch when taking photos. Here he is with Jesse Eisenberg (5'7ish") and Andrew Garfield (5'10"/5'11"):

By the way, it was recently announced that Armie will star in Clint Eastwood's new film about American FBI director J. Edgar Hoover with Leo DiCaprio. Armie plays J. Edgar's "right hand man" Clyde Tolleson. I am sure that we will have many height comparisons between Leo and Armie when the movie pics start coming out.

I'm pretty sure that Armie is 6-5. He has been on the golden globes and other award shows recently when SN won, and he is waaaaay taller than everyone else on stage. He was on Ellen recently, and said that he grew 9 inches in one summer. That has GOT to be a record!

He looked really tall on stage at the Golden Globes

[Editor Rob: this is a guy who in photos looks to be enjoying the limelight and his stature]

Here's the previously mentioned picture where Hammer looks the same height as the real Winklevoss twins:

Please, 6'2'' is a joke. He's not shorter than 6'4'' and the height he claims is perfectly reasonable.

I've seen pictures of him with the real Winklevoss twins - who actually are 6'5" - and he's right up there with him. So I believe what he says.

Armie is certainly not 6'5". Just because he says "I'm six-foot-five, 220 lbs" in "The Social Network" isn't sufficient. He DOES NOT appear to be a foot taller than 5'6" Eisenberg in the film. My guess would be about 6'2".

That seems accurate. When I saw him on The Social Network he looked really tall.
