Giant Gonzales was 7'6 legit. He's even mentioned in the 2000 Guinness Book of Records as the tallest wrestler ever. Guinness is very sceptical with height listings, so to be mentioned in this book must meen they have some kind of proof for his height.
I doubt Gonzales wore lifts to bring him up to 8'0. Undertaker was probably 6'8 at that time, so if Gonzales was 7'6 the difference was 10 inches. Looked like this to me.

Well Alex, seeing he was listed in the ECW as 5'7" (I used to buy their magazines in '99-'00), he's definitely shorter. I'd give him at most 5'5", but probably only 5'4" in reality. Maybe I exagerated with 5'2". I know that little guido was listed at 5'6" and was shorter and him and Tazz were about the same height. Don't get me wrong, he was huge for his height and is even bigger (FATTER) today (at least 260 pounds).

Viper, I saw him from a close range. Around 10 feet at WWE NY in NYC in early 2002. Before that I thought he was 5'8-5'9 but after that he does look 5'6. I don't see him shorter than that though.

I still think Dalip is an inch taller than Big Show. I'm not as sure after seeing some footage of them together. The only way to tell would be to have both stand straight and facing each other and that won't happen. I believe Rey Mysterio is only 5'2. Another wrestler (Lance Storm maybe?) said Rey was 5'2. I saw Jerry Lynn when he was in ECW at a club after a wrestling event. I was shocked at how short he was. I've seen Lynn described as 5'10 or 5'9. He was 5'3 maybe 5'4 no more than that.

Hey people, I want to throw in a little coment about this guy's height but since I'm mexican I don't know much about your "inch and feet" measure system,
but what I know is that I had the pleasure of seeing him compete here in Palacio de los Deportes in november 2001, he was in a match where he was teaming up with another big man, Giant Silva, and on their team was also one of the tallest mexican wrestlers, Tinieblas jr. who is 193cm, I don't know in feet or inches, but i know is that next to those two he looked REALLY small, plus when the matches were over, the giants were signing autographs outside the arena and me and my friends took a few pictures with them and I have a picture of me along those two (I am 183cm, I think that equals some 6 foot in american system)and Singh was already in his street clothes and IN SANDALS and the top of my head did not even reach his shoulder! Silva who was still in ring gear lokked a bit taller than Singh, so I firmly believe that Daliph is a legit 215-220cm, I don't think he's any shorter than 210cm

Viper, in late 2003 this guy at my gym who worked there said he met The Rock and estimated him at 6'6 too. LOL this was when I believed Rock was 6'5 so I didn't really say too much other than you're off by an inch.

Danimal,Carlito is listed at 5'10 and doesn't look it. I saw him at the same autograph session with Angle but I didn't meet him since I wasn't paying more money to meet him but he did look maybe 5'9 but nowhere near 220lbs. I'd say 180 something. Under 190lbs though.

I was at the meadowlands for the RAW/SMACKDOWN taping this week. I was pretty high up seating wise, but I could see Kali PERFRECTLY. 6'11.5" or 7'3", that is one BIG dude.

Oh if anyone's interested I saw Simon Dean on his way out after the show. He seems pretty short. We were about 10 feet away or so but he looked a little shorter than me and I'm 5'10", I'd say he's 5'9" max. Seemed like a real cool guy though.

Richard, remember that those of us who feel Big Show is 7'0" are downgrading him from the WCW claimed height of 7'4" and WWE's initial claimed height of 7'2". You're taking him down 2+ more inches. WWE used to have Viscera at 6'6" when he looks the same height as 6'8" Max Starks of the Steelers. WWE lists Mark Henry at 6'1" when he appears no less than 6'3" (apparently due to lifts).

Most on this board will agree that Nash is around 6'10" (or was in the mid-1990s). There are pictures that I and others have posted of Nash with 2-3 inches on Magic Johnson (6'8") and close to 2 inches on Oliver Miller (6'8" to 6'9"). Big Show always had Nash by no less than 2-3 inches. It was never even close. I posted a video on the Big Show page from a recent WWE event, where Big Show actually looks as tall or taller than Singh the majority of the time. Big Show could be 6'10". I just think there's too much evidence to the contrary.

BTW, who measured Singh at 6'11.5" and why is this the "official" height?

Well Richard Kurt Angle's height is exaggerated by 4 inches most of the time. I do think the WWE is still exaggerating, I agree they have cut it down somewhat however. I think this may be to do with trying to look more legit what with UFC being they're main competition now. Also Vince has been putting less emphasis on height and more on overall appeal i.e. letting Jericho, Angle, Benoit, Mysterio and Guerrero all hold a main title despite being clearly under 6'.

The thing that casts a shadow of doubt over Singhs height is Big Show! He shouldn't be that close to Singh in height. Sure, Big Show wears a bigger shoe and maybe insoles, but still... I am a firm believer that the man (Show)isn't over 6'10.
Now my estimate of 2 inches between Show and Singh (some may not agree with me) is based on the pic of the two and considering Show's larger soles.
If we suppose I'm right and Show is 6'10 or slightly below that it would place Singh at 6'11.5" which is what he was once measured at. Does this sound so far fetched? It supports a fact.
Another question this poses for me is, has the WWE begun telling the truth?
If so, why? To me they have most likely not.. still I think they've stopped exaggerating as greatly as they did before, but I still think they add 1-2 inches on the wrestlers. At the very least their "billed heights" is with SHOES ON!
This makes for an argument...Show may have 2 inches from his shoes...and Singh might have 1.5 inches.
Wrestlers like Carlito and Angle were also listed at least an inch taller than they are. This might be a "shoes-on" policy. If so, 6'11.5 may still be the truth for Singh.

Cycklops, there is some GOOD evidence out there that Singh is taller than 6'11.5" now. He looked at least 10 inches taller than 6'3" + The Rock and 13-14 inches taller than Roddy Piper, who's listed on this site as 6'1" but is probably an inch or two smaller now.

There was an article on him in 1999 written by Muscle Mag. They had him listed as the World's Largest Bodybuilder at 6'11.5 and 390 pounds. I'm sure that this is his true height. In the picture of him with the Big show they are both wearing lifts. Check out their shoe soles.

Singh definitely shows signs of acromegaly, as others have pointed out. Like Andre and Kiel, he has also numerous spaces between the teeth, which occurs when the jaw continues to grow out (the teeth don't get any bigger with the disease). Singh also has thickening of the tongue, which is another sign of the disease. Big Show's lucky that the tumor really didn't affect his facial features, because his disease probably would have been as bad as Andre's had it been left untreated.

There are two major forms of "giantism": Morphin's (sp?) Syndrome & Acromegaly. The largest giants tend to have the latter, which is usually caused by a tumor on the pituitary gland. It's NOT thought to be hereditary & the treatment is brain surgery to remove the tumor (if possible). The former form IS thought to be hereditary. Need to look at this guy on TV... ???

When i used to stay in punjab .Khali was my friend during school days,at that time he was not this big just 5ft9 when he was 16,but due to a head tumor he grew 7ft.

Supes, nice pic as its bigger than the other one someone posted so you get a better view. They both seem to have the same footwear and I'd think WWE would have them wear the same footwear so we can see the real height difference between the 2. Yes, Singh is a bit more straight up but there is still at least a good inch between them, MAYBE 2 inches.

Notice that Singh is standing perfectly straight while Show is slouching slightly. Regardless, after seeing the two of them in the ring together it was clear that Singh was a shade taller, about an inch.

I used to think I had 4.5 inches from the top of my head down to my eye-level but when I measured it was 5 inches (12.5 cm) and Andre's head was definitely bigger than mine, that's why I believe there was at least 5 inches between him and Hulk. If there was only 4.5 inches then Andre would have a normal forehead which most will agree he did not.

Taker is 6'7, thus that would put Nash at 6'8. Add 4 inches to that and you have roughly 7' flat which sounds about right to me. Big Show will probably be about 2 inches shorter than Dalip placing him at 6'10.
I disagree with those of you who believe he had more than 5 inches on taker... the difference was the same as it was between Andre and Hogan at WM3 and most people will agree that there was 5 inches between them. Maybe a bit more, but there is no way Dalips head is as big as Andre's So there can't be more than 5 inches between him and Taker. Dalips head looks "normal" for his height and wasn't much bigger than Taker's.

At his peak I do believe Nash was around 6'10. He really did look it. Nowadays he indeed looks only 6'9. I've seen the footage between Nash and Singh on the dvd extra's and although it's not very good footage, we can clearly see that Singh is taller than Nash. I also think he has him by 4 inches, so 7'1 still sounds about right.

I'd like to know how they could not stand Kevin Nash and Dalip together during The Longest Yard. Now in the Extras provided by the DVD, Kevin Nash starts slapping guys on the ass. He does this to Dalip and I see a good 3-4 inch height difference. Big Kevin is a Legit 6'10" to my knowledge. Also Dalip looks taller than Andre who maybe scraped 6'11", 7'. Vince has got to get Bigshow and Dalip just a stare down would be nuts! Check out the Pic of Andre Wilt Chamberlain and Arnold together. When I heard such a photo exisited I thought Andre was going to look dwarfed but he actually only slightly shorter than Wilt.

this photo is not the best to judge but it's enough to me to say that Undertaker(at his peak a full 6'8") tops just over Khali's eyes so put Taker is 6'8" w/ shoes now and khali around 7'1" always w/ shoes then I guess(and I think I'm not too far from the truth) Taker is 6'6.5"/6'7" now and Khali 6'11.5"/7'0.5"

Jordan also UT's height has been debatable on this site. Most will agree that Khali has UT by 5-6 inches, but UT's height has been guessed at mostly 6'7-6'8, some 6'6 guesses and even one as high as 6'9 and two as low as 6'2 and 6'5.5.

That's a pretty unique way of guessing someone's height. Shaq is 6'11.5, so Singh must be the same. What kind of evidence do you have in comparing these two persons together. Absolutely none! As far as I know, Taker is the only good judgment for Singh's height, and I've never seen a picture of him and Shaq together, so I really don't have a clue as to why you compare Singh with Shaq. It's like saying: Singh is 3'4 because that's the height of Warwick Davis, or he's 6' like Arnold Schwarzenegger.

well since shaq is 6-11.5, then it's believable that dalip is the same. However, unless they tell you, there is no way on earth you can tell the difference between a 6-11.5 guy and a 7 feet guy. Shaq for all intants and purposes is 7-1+ with shoes, so is Dalip.

Wish I can see dalip and shaq and big show all stand next to each other, then we will know for sure.

If you guys watch behind the scenes in the remake of the Longest yard, Burt renolds says that Dalip is 7'11, or something like that. Bill Golberg however says Dalip is 7'2. Burt probobly wanted himself to appear taller so he made that claim.

If Singh is 7'1 to 7'3 then why would that bodybuilding Mag lie about saying he is 6'11 1/2. I personally think that Singh himeself does not want to be billed at 7'3 for resons of being considered a freak. He could really be 7'3 and advised people to bill him as 6'11 1/2. What do you guys think

I think if they stood back to back you would really see the difference. Sometimes, even standing right next to someone, you don't see the full difference until they are back to back. Screw head size. Just look at the total difference from the top of one guy's head to another. I don't care how tall Singh is, but I think he looks at least 7 feet.

Well the rock comes just below singh's bottom lip in that pic plus i reckon the rock is slightly over 6'3 so about an 10'' height difference. I think Bob Sapp had lifts on in them pics due to the fact he towers over adam sandler and chris rock as well like an 8'' diff and he's around the rock's height

Singh does look 9" taller than The Rock to me. Remember we're dealing with giants, so their heads ARE probably around a foot high or so. Plus they're probably both a iittle hunched, straightening out would probably give Dalip another inch or so.

Gramps, I don't know where you get your perception of 9 inches from but that picture has been posted before and the general consensus is that Dalip looks a full head taller than the Rock, which is around 10 inches.

If you assume The Rock is around 6'3", there's no way Singh is a seven-footer. He certainly doesn't have 9" on The Rock:

Richard - I am very skeptical of height claims. Yes, I DO believe he looked 14 or 15 inches taller than Piper. I have no problem beleving Singh is 7'2" or 7'3". I don't care about the size of their heads, I am looking at total height.

Big Show will def be cheered over Singh, but we will soon see them face off and see the heigth difference which will be interesting. Oh and ECW aren't really heels, they do have a lot of fans too.

With Big Show going to the ECW roster we may finally have Big Show and Singh face off or have a match very soon I think. We may finally get our wish. And also on WWE vs ECW last night Big Show didn't even look as tall as he normally does and that is comparing him to Kurt Angle.
