i agree with the ponit that sometimes when you list their height, you list their height with shoes on.

In one episode of FRIENDS, schwimmer is standing next to Tom selleck(6'4 himself), and David looks a clear 2-2.5" shorter than Tom barefoot. So I guess he is 187 cms barefeet and maybe 188-188.5 with shoes on.

if leelee is 5'10 +3.5" =6'1.5" and schimmer is steel about 1 "taller in means 6'2.5" in shoes about 6'1.25" to 6'1.5" barefeet so david is in the 186 187 cm range

david schwimmer came into the electronics store i used to work for in chicago. firstly, he pulled up in an old beater jeep cherokee(this was during maybe the second to last season of friends maybe before). he was wearing trainers and was about my height(i was wearing boots). i'd say 6'1 is accurate, maybe slightly less

i always believed he was 6'2 even when watching an episode of friends along side Eddie Cahill who is listed as 6'2 they looked exactly the same height (the very end of the one with the red sweater)

rob i think you right because in a movie he did with paltrow and rapaport and vartan he barely looks 6'1" he looks much taller in friends 186 cm on a good day but he does apear as a 187 188 cm in friends but if he is only 185 186 cm then perry and leblanc are way shorter than i thaught

Kal is right - somehow this guy always looks taller than he really is... freaky In Friends he was noticable shorter than Tom "almost 6'4" Selleck... though not a full 4" shorter I think

I would say just UNDER 6"1 - judging from Matthew Perry who is a certifiable liar.
Shwim's got all the characteristics of a guy who appears much taller than he really is -- for years I was willing to swear he was 6"2. Alas my deductive reasoning had failed me. He is has long slender legs, a large looking back and broad shoulders which give him a lanky-ish appearence. But if you study hims in pics close to B.Pitt and next to the other Friend cast members, an inkling of the truth comes out. Also watch him at showbizzy type events; he's not as tall as expected.

if she is 178 she can rich 186 with heels even 187 schwimmer with shoes is around 189 190 that whi he is 3 cm taller so ther is steel a chance of david being 188 cm

I agree with hani i´ve seen that pic before and shwimmer is shorter than Freddie Prinze at least 1 inch and Freddie is a solid 6'1 (185cm) Shwimmer could be 6'1 but with shoes on tha makes him 6ft barefoot.

I was watching a rerun of Saturday Night Live the other night, and there was a skit where schwimmer was in an elevator, and weird things kept happening. At one point, he was right next to Will Ferrell, who we know is 6'3". I would say that Schwimmer is not even 6'1", but maybe 6'05". He was clearly about 2.5 inches shorter than Ferrell! For years, he has been listed incorrectly at 6'2"!
