@chrisss: Benzema is 181cm (I've even seen him listed at a ridiculous 187cm!), just barely taller than 180cm Casillas (who somehow is listed at 185cm but is at least an inch shorter than 183cm Valdes). Then it makes sense; Bale is about 2 cm taller than Benzema and about 2cm shorter than 185cm CR. 6' for Bale is spot on, though I agree that sometimes he can give the illusion of being taller.

@Anon, yes of course he isn't 6'2"-6'3" but he does give the illusion of it in this photograph in my opinion. It's the long skinny limbs and long face I think which give this illusion.

My cousin who is 6'0'' has a fan picture with him and Bale had nearly 2 inches on him. 6'1.5'' I'd say. I think he's like Van Persie. Gets also listed as 6'0'' but is actually 6'2''.

Van Persie (horrible man with no loyalty) is a legit 6'1 I saw him several years ago at a signing event. I think Bale claims 6'1 but I think his slim build makes him look taller, 6'0 is a good estimate. I remember reading that Tony Adams went to scout him for Arsenal years and years ago and said that he was a tiny little fella, so clearly he must have grown a lot. Can't find the exact article where it says this.

Good to see him get a page. I wouldn't go over 183 cm for Bale, so personally I think this listing is good. And about Van Persie: he's got to be a little taller than 6'1 flat. 186-187 cm range I think is a good shout for him, wouldn't you say Rob?

Some sources have him as much as 186cm which is far too high. He's a tall man but not quite that tall. 183cm is much more accurate.
