Frankly, even me, I am surprised. 6'4 is definitely a minimum for sure. My 6'3 pals never could look towering everybody as "he" does!

Were the feet and ground visible in Brian and Jared's shots together? Brian Van Holt never came across as particuarly tall on John From Cincinnati, and I have a hard time buying Padalecki only looked 1" taller a 6'1.5" guy unless other factors were at work.
Jared looks to have around 2 full inches on John Schneider and Tom Welling (numerous pics with both suggest this), and since Rob has a photo with Schneider pegging him at absolutely nothing under 6'2", probably more 6'2.5" then it doesn't add up.
Jared has to be 6'4", or at least thereabouts. In scenes from House of Wax, in scenes where the feet were visible, he always looked huge next to his fellow castmates.

i agree Yaspaa he is a weak 6-5, im sure he said 6-5 as his height on the house of wax extras.. also i have a friend who claimed 6-3.75 and i thought he was taller so out came the tape measurer.. he was 6-5.25, not all people know their correct height ;)

He seriously needs an upgrade! I met him in real life (I'm 5'8'' & was wearing heals) and he made me feel like a shrimp. I honestly believe he's a legit 6'5''- probably just wants to get more work for his image as the "good guy" (rarely are the good guys huge athletic statues). Great smile, too :)

During Smallville, Tom Welling ALWAYS looks similar in height to John Schneider,who is pictured with the 5'8" Supermun on this very site and absolutely looks at least 6'2". If Tom were really 6ft they would constantly need to make sure that Clark didn't look too small in front of John,which is just too much hassle for them,It wouln't be done. This guy gets out of bed at 190.7cm and that would make Jared 195cm in the morn. That pic posted recently by 6' shows clearly Jared looking very large in comparison to John.

In the U.S they say 'shrimp' and in Britain they say 'prawn'. Prawn isn't a very good way of describing a person's stature but is still quite a funny word,just like 'shrimp',lol.
A normal sized shrimp/prawn would look noticeably smaller in Jared Padalecki's hand than it would in Jenson Ackles's hand,which point's to Jared Padalecki,lol,having bigger hands than Jenson Ackles. Seriously though Jenson never really seems like a 5'11 guy to me and his picture with Rob shows a leaning in, very relaxed guy. I love specific's and Jenson(on a bad day) probably sniff's the lower side of 6' at beddy time and sniff's the other side of 6' at rise and shine. Judging from the Supernatural show,3-5 inches depending on the (usable)angle is the difference evident.
These finding's are my honest opinion's given at 23:35 GMT under the assumption that my assumptions are correct! Jared Padalecki - 6'4.4"

Jared is at least 6' 4" and Jensen has to be standing on a step in that mugshot. Jensen can't be more than 6'0" but I'm sure they needed to make him feel better because Jared is soooo much taller. I love them both.
Jared is at least 6' 4" and Jensen has to be standing on a step in that mugshot. Jensen can't be more than 6'0" but I'm sure they needed to make him feel better because Jared is soooo much taller. I love them both.

About the Cheaper by the dozen sreencap of Tom and Jared, you can't go by that. If you watch closely in the background of a couple of the shots, there is curbing in front of the parked cars. Jared is standing on the curb and Tom isn't. If Tom had of been on the curb, they would be nose to nose. You can notice when Hilary steps in front of Tom, her height drops because she gets off the curb when she turns away from Jared.

well i actuall met Jared in person. I was at the airport in san antonio, where i live. my husband was flying in from korea. He had a layover in los angeles, ca. well it turns out that Jared was on the same flight in from LA with my husband. I actually saw him before i saw my husband. I was star-struck. Jared wasn't being bothered and had taken off his beenie and hoodie. So i worked up the guts to approach him, introduce myself, and take a picture with him. He's extremely tall. I'm only 5'2" and he bent down to take the picture with me! one of the best days of my life! so i'd have to agree and say that he's well over 6'.

AT the beginnig of Gilmore Girls he was 17 years old and stood about 6'1 or 6'2. He has grown since then, I am positive of it. Even if it was only 2-3 inches in 3 years, thatsstill possible. He more than likely grew into his late teens/ early 20. He is only 24 now, so he could have grown as little as 3-4 years ago

YOu'll have to follow along. When Chad Michael Murray was on Dawson's Creek he was about 2 inches shorter that Josh Jackson. When Chad and Jared has scenes together on Gilmore Girls there was a far larger gap that the 2 inches a 6'2 Dean. I say Jared is 6'4.

I remember on this show called MOD (it's like Canada's version of MTV) they had the house of wax cast on. Well, in between the interview they talked about Jared's modelling career and then this box appeared with some facts about him. He was listed as 6'2", which makes more sense to me than 6'4". If I were a betting man, I'd say he's 6'3".

i think alot of the time shorter people over estimate height because they just cant accurately tell someones height from their angle.. im 6'1 and people tell me "what are you like 6'36'4" i think someone has to be over 6'0 to know how tall their are otherwise its just blind guessing

My cousin is exactly 5'9" in her favorite heeled boots. She was lucky enough to meet Jensen in Vancouver while she was wearing her heels and he was in runners. She said he was at least a couple of inches taller than her. That would put him at about 5'11, minimum, so 6 foot, 6'1" is quite possible. Jared is about 4 in. taller, and so if he was wearing boots he could easily reach 6'5".

yeh jensen is definately 6'...no shorter..he could be half and inch taller though coz ive read alot of articles on the two and they have all said how tall Jensen is...jared has to be at least 6'4..he is sooo tall..he looked huge next to 5'4 elisha cuthbert and 5'8 paris hilton in house of wax...you could also see a big difference between him and chad michael murry...he could possibly downgrade his height also so he doesnt seem that tall next to jensen

In House of Wax, Elisha Cuthbert who plays alongside Jared had to wear blocks so it would seem she is nearly as tall as him, she was still about 3 or 4 inches lower and she couldn't wear any higher blocks cause of safety issues. lol. its quite funny actually.

I think it is quite hard to accurately measure height, for instance im about 6"1 when i measure myself with a tape measurement, around 6"0 with just a normal height chart on the wall, and 6"2 with everyday trainers on, then i am about 6"2 when measured in the morning and 6"3 with just normal shoes on in the morning, so i think theres such a variable that you might have to just average accurate heights out and see what you get, i think hes probably half an inch taller than tom welling so id say about 6"3 with shoes

this s for "jess". after he said he was 7'3, his "girlfriend" (house of wax) said she was 5'3. he did the math and said that he was exactly 12 inches taller than her. it was an easy mistake coming from his mouth. besides that, 6'4 is about right. not all men could look as hot as he does at that height!!!!

Well, I saw him once in Gilmore Girls and I remember that scene very well: he was standing next to Edward Herrmann (6-5) and was taller about 2 inches. But 6-4 could be, because in GG he everytime looked 10 inches taller than Alexis Bledel (who is listed at 5-6.5 on this site).

If you agree that John Schneider is 6'3 than Jared's at least 6'4 if not 6'5. If you look at a picture of them standing right next to each other at the 2006 WB all stars the top of John's head reaches to just about Jared's eyebrow. He may have been 6'2 or 6'3 during House of Wax or Gilmore Girls but I'm willing to think that he grew a little. I mean the guys brother is 6'7.

Actually, in the special features of Cheeper by the Dozen, Jared was standing on a box for that scene, which made him a very obvious 4-5 inches taller. If you freeze that frame, it's just ridiculous, he would have to be 6'8" to be that much taller than Tom. Tom Welling is a solid 6.25
