187cm is a possibilty for his prime. I dont think he was ever a full 6'2 but a very strong 6'1 at peak hence the chance of 187cm.

Jeff looks 6ft2 in that picture and he isn't even standing straight. He's a little taller than 6ft1. I'd say 6ft1.25 now and 6ft1.75 or even 6ft2 at his peak. He hasn't lost a noticeable amount at all. He does look like nice guy, Was he Glenn?

To me the shortest he could be if he stood up straight is a hair over 6'1. The guy is on his way to 60 so maybe he was closer to 6'2 in his youth.

The picture posted on March 27 by Guk, shows how short Jeff is. When he is out in the public he does wear lifts. That picture shows how short he looks without lifts. 5'10 max at best. Glenn was downgraded by Rob to 5'7.5 and by evening he could be 5'7 (or 5'6.5) also It does not help if you lie about your height!

I just saw Ironman and couldn't figure out how Downey was almost as tall as Bridges and Favreau.........I am surprised he could act in 5 inch + lifts.

Well Downey Jr. Is definitely 5'8". I never pictured him as a tall person but it did show in Lebowski when he was walking with Goodman. But it isn't impossible that he lost about 1/2" inch since he is like almost 60.

I remember an article in a magazine (could have been Sky mgazine) which stated "Bridges is smaller than you would expect at 5ft 11" I remember at the time thinking that seemed a little low, but why would they say that if he were 6ft 1?

I tried to google for clear pictures, but mysteriously there are practically no sites with pictures of them next to each other where either one of them isn't looking down, or worse even, where they're not even standing. On Rotten Tomatoes, all pictures show up as a red cross. Can't be my computer because we checked on more than 1 PC.

I will be a monkey's uncle is he was really only 181.8cm..that would make Brosnan 180 or less.....heck then I am taller than both...I was measured by a doctor to be 183.5 several months ago, which is very close to the 184 I always claimed...AWESOME!!!

My Dad told me he saw Jeff Bridges in the seventies. He told me that he didn't strike him as very tall but isn't sure. However in King Kong his passport said 6'1" and he really did look a inch shorter than John Goodman. So yeah, 6'1" still sounds about it.
