Just wanted to clarify that the average white American woman is about five five. Precisely she is 163 to 164 centimeters, which is about 64.2 to 64.6 inches (the latter is about five five). But I think she has long legs compared to the average American woman who is five five. There are taller women with longer legs than Katy, but my point is that Katy's legs are longer than average. @Allie I get what you say, but having stood next to her I do know 5'6" is a wrong guess, because she's taller than that. She may be half an inch over 5'7", but not 5'6". It does make a difference if I've seen somebody in real life because I'm 6'1" and with a good enough eye to see she's taller than just one inch above average.

Or you take a picture and tell us the specifics so we can make an even more accurate guess. So your's is a guess as well. If someone thinks that she's like 5'6 so be it I guess. She's not shorter than five seven. She doesn't teeter on ridiculous heels as a rule, just wears heels like any other woman does, and it's easy to see that she's a good deal taller than average. People who meet her are not necessarily a totally reliable source; often people who stood next to me took me for three inches taller than I am because I'm slim. For some reason people also mistake Katy for shorter than she is. (no, Katy, I've not just called you fat, I called you tall, ok? Lol)

Having a 9cm heel doesn't mean a 9cm gain in height as the heel will have a gradient and the leg rotates around a socket that is 1/4 down the foot so i'd say on avg a 9cm heels gives 6-7cm more thus your prediction is at least 167cm plus the fact that i doubt your heel is 1cm maybe more like 1.5 to 2 thus maybe she is 168cm. Add this to the fact that your judging her height through inspection not measuring

I'd reckon Katy Perry has a very small frame, but 5'7" seems like an accurate height to me. She does have short legs though, and because she's filled out it makes her seem shorter.

on her youtube channel, in the "bus tour" video her head was touching the ceiling and she says something about "if your taller than 5'7".....it sucks". That could mean she is 5'7" and she was saying that it would be hard for anyone over 5'7" to walk around or that shes over 5'7" and she finds it hard to walk around....?? I think shes 5'8".

on her youtube channel, in the "bus tour" video her head was touching the ceiling and she says something about "if your taller than 5'7".....it sucks". That could mean she is 5'7" and she was saying that it would be hard for anyone over 5'7" to walk around or that shes over 5'7" and she finds it hard to walk around....?? I think shes 5'8".

I agree that shes just scrapping 5'7 but saying no one on earth would ever downgrade their height is a bit extreme...some people dont bother saying their 5'5 & a half for example, and just say 5'5, and some tall girls can round down a bit too, though i dont think they need to.

theres a video on youtube where she says shes 5'7. none on earth, NONE, would claim himself at 5'7, being taller than that.
also theres a picture of her with the france's first lady, both wearing flats, shes 5'9 and theres a good 2.5" different between both on em.

Yeah i watched that paul ogrady interview...katys heels were quite big, but not as massive as the ones you see beyonce and rihanna wearing. Anyway i reckon they gave her about 5 inches, and she was about the same hight as 6ft1+ ogrady. Id say 5ft8 is rich for her, she def needs to be upgraded.

Granted the heels Katy is wearing are sizeable ... but from my own experience when my 5'7+ girlfriend wears nearly 3" heels - at 180cm I'm (just) taller than her barefoot. Standing hugely straight admittedly!
But the point I'm making is that the height difference between Perry in heels and Wogan + O'Grady in dress shoes doesn't match up to my own experience or the math between the listed heights.
Unless she is wearing vertigo inducing 4.5+ inch heels. But is that possible?
Maybe 5'8 is more likely?
