@Rob: Viper has a point. Dickerson May be further over and camera influencing it but Dickerson is taller than Allen. If Eric Dickerson is 6’2” Allen isn’t 6’2”. 6’1 3/8 could be his low

Whilst Eric can look taller, it is tricky to say how much height he might gain being a bit nearer.

Are you going to put that down for his height. I figure that's his low
Editor Rob
I wouldn't have guessed him that low, I could see 6ft 1 7/8ths as more likely, though 6ft 1 3/8th could have been from college.

Rob, then why is he listed this low?
Editor Rob
the 7/8ths matches up with 6ft 2, but 6ft 1 3/8th?
I would be surprised at that mark.

Rob, I found a 6-1 3/8 measurement of Allen. Click Here

That would be a surprising measurement, because generally this guy looks taller than a weak 6ft 2!

When people look back at the Los Angeles Raiders 38-9 clubbing in Super Bowl XVIII over the Washington Redskins, what naturally sticks out is 6'1" Marcus Allen's blistering 218 yard game and 4th quarter 78 yard TD run what narrator William Woodson called "the knockout blow, and Washington was NOT saved by the bell!" True, but look beyond Allen and you see other telling factors Woodson described in the Raiders win. 1) The defensive backs stifled the Redskins' "Smurfs" receivers. 2) NT Reggie Kinlaw quashed the Redskins running game by smothering C Jeff Bostic and thwarting Redskins RB John Riggins from getting open to make big runs. 3) It was a windy night in Tampa and Redskins QB Joe Theismann was not very mobile and gambled just before halftime to throw an 87 yard bomb on the basis earlier that season he fired a 71 yard TD pass to "Scatback" Joe Washington only to have LB Jack Squirek steal a TD when he picked it off. 4) The Washington secondary gave up too many big plays because one DB held out, another missed much of 1983 with a dislocated shoulder, one DB retired, and S Tony Peters was kicked out of the NFL following a cocaine selling conviction. 5) Their star kicker had a 47 yard FG attempt blocked. 6) On one of Allen's 2 TD runs,a Redskins LB was butchered with a 51 yard pass interference foul. And Allen deserved his MVP for the game.

Looks a bit shorter than 6-2ish Eddie George in that TV series Rookie commercial.

I think his peak he was easily 6’2” or at least 6’1 5/8 maybe.Looked close in height to Michael Irvin

What's impressive is he wears converse shoes a lot, and still can look taller than this

Rob , this is worst for Will Smith as Alfonso always looked shorter next to him.
Editor Rob
True, this guy can look over 6ft 2 regularly in fact, which is suprising if he measured the same range as Andy Murray.

I suppose they are height twins, in the sense they can look taller than their listings, while Will Smith can look shorter than his.
