Looks like Mickey & Peter have about as flat of shoes as you could get. Nesmith has heeled boots. Davey, fairly high heeled boots.
Anyway, Mickey 5'10" seems right. 6' for Mike would seem generous enough, if even that.

I thought Dolenz (who'll be 74 tomorrow;Happy early birthday,Mickey !!!!) was a bit taller than I (Currently 5'81/2",at 65,I was probably 5'9" at one time .)

Hi there. Would you consider adding Mike Nesmith to the height register? (You have the other three Monkees.). Also, I think you have Peter and Micky only a half inch different, but they look further apart than that. (It's The Monkees 50th anniversary, so I'm curious about them.)

Editor Rob I'm sure Mike claimed 6ft 2 somewhere, I remember reading it and thinking he didn't seem quite that tall.

@Andy M - Never looked over 5`10 to me,only looks tall next to Jones,I think Dolenz is more like 5`9 now.

When he was on the monkees he certainly looked 6'0. 5'10 cannot be right. I think 6'0 looks correct

I knew Mickey back when we were both kids. His father George was a close friend of my dad. Mickey's about 5'9". I haven't seen him in a long time. The tallest Monkey was 6'1" Michael Nesmith.

he was wearing lifts surely in the first image, Mamun posture is quite good most of the time and in most pics compared to Rob and Glenn.

exactly matthiew.thank you.some have said that here about me.i personally feel mamun can look a hair taller at times more than rob,compared to me.they both can look a hair taller.plenty of pics where i can look 5-9 though.

And judging on most celebs pics if anyone should look taller , that would quite be the opposite , I personnaly think Glenn look a stronger 5'8 than Mamun most of the time ...
So I guess pics can be deceiving ...

The main thing here to notice is that both of the reference guys called Mamun and Glenn cannot be both 5'8". Mamun appers to be 1" taller than Glenn.
My inclination is that the guy called Glenn's barefoot height is below his stated height of 5'8". This is also supported by Debra Messing's and Eddie Palmieri's pictures where he also appears to be 5'7" tops.
Since he is one of the references on this site, his height should be corrected, otherwise it is pointless using him as a reference to gauge height.

Nesmith was the tallest. If Micky is 5'10" as he looks in the picture then I'd
say Nesmith was 6'1" at best. He only looked tall next to the rest of the band.

I have an article on the Monkees published in 1967 giving their heights and Micky is listed as 5'10", although he looks more than 2" taller than Glenn in that picture.

i'm 5'11 without shoes and 6'0 with shoes, now glenn is 5'8 with shoes in the image which makes him about 5'9, if Mickey was 5'11 then he would be about 6'0 with shoes.
