Wasn't there an article about Sly and how there was a big deal about hiring actors for the Rocky movies that were as short or shorter as Sly. They had a hard time finding shorter actors that look "mean". Mr. T was the only one that fit the description according to the article. Considering 5'10" is average/above average and most actors fit this range. I'd say Mr. T is shorter than 5'9".

I agree that 5'10"-ish for Mr. T is about right. He was clearly taller than Stallone in Rocky III but by only about an inch. And I agree that Stallone is around the 5'9" mark. I think the reason they constantly go after Stallone is he makes a big deal of it and goes to great lengths to exagerate his height because of the perceived notion that an action star needs to be big.

I think 179 or maybe 180 is correct. In Rocky III he was about one inch taller than Stallone.
