Yeah, because at least when 7'6" Giant Gonzalez was inflated to 8ft, he was actually a real legit giant, and his height was his biggest selling point. There's no logical reason at all to bill a 6'2" wrestler at 6'8" though, because 6'2" isn't gigantic by any means.

the WWE is well known for super boosts but generally more for giants,I mean it's not like everybody is able to guess a 7'7 from a nearly 8' but for most dudes it's more between 1 and 3".Now 6" boost? well,that's a huge exgeration.What's shocking however is more this guy's claim.Nearly 3" boost is outrageous,it could be embarassing if he met Howard Stern.Obviously,he looks tall,but nothing exceptional really,Stern on the other hand definitely stands out with almost everybody

Dear all, I don't think Oleg was ever billed as 6'8 tal actually he was billed as 6'6 which still us quiet the exaggeration but good footwear could make him look 6'4-6'5 range so pretty close to 6'6 .

Strowman and Erick Rowan were both described as 7 footers a few times on commentary, as well. But at least those two are in the 6'6" range. Kane still gets officially billed as 7'0" to this day, despite being barely 6'6"-6'7".

Kane was listed as 7' but Rob estimated him to be about 6'7.5", Andre the Giant listed as 7'4" or 7'5" but he may be estimated to be closer to 7' for his prime, Giant Gonzales was listed as 8' but in reality was estimated to be more around the 7'6"-7'7" area, Batista was listed as 6'6" but he estimated him to be roughly 6'3", Rey Mysterio was listed as 5'6" but when Rob met him in person he looked more 5'2" than 5'6" and that was what he guessed before he seen him in person, Alberto del Rio who Rob also seen in person who was listed at 6'5" or 6'6" by the WWE, to him he looked to be more closer to 6'2" than 6'5", Chyna was listed as 6' tall but was estimated to be about 5'9", Kurt Angle was listed as 6'2" one time in the WWE but he himself claims he is 5'10", Chris Jericho is listed as 6' (6'1" at one time), and he was estimated to be about 5'9.5" and the list goes on. It's a business, it's been that kind of thing for a really long time. Having big guys in the wrestling business was kind of a freak show strategy and exaggerating their sizes will make them even more interesting (Vince probably thought). They were a lot of legitimate big guys that came in the ring and often times WWE will claim them to be taller than they actually are, even the smaller ones (even some of the weights of the wrestlers might as well be exaggerated). But surprisingly, that's not always the case. Some wrestlers listings may have been there actual height, and in some rare cases some wrestlers may have been underlisted. It just all depends. Lots of professional wrestling corporations besides WWE has been using that same kind of strategy as well. WWE may not have started it, but i have no clue where it started from. But either way, that's business.

I remember WWE listing him to be 6'6" which was crazy enough, but I never knew they listed him as 6'8" once. That is insane.
