When I was 11 and "I'm Into Something Good" hit ( it's still one of my all-time favourite songs,55 years later),I heard Noone, then 17,was told to say he was 15 because he was "tiny." Well,Pete and I are (basically) five-nine,which isn't quite tiny, though between 200-205 lb.,I'm about 75 pounds larger than the former Herman's Hermits frontman. ( I'm 66,and like Noone,I've retained boyish good looks.) Pete will be 72 Nov.5;he's a half-century and two days older than my great-nephew,Stephen Turner, also a small, handsome lad.

I used to like the Herman's Hermits when I was a little sprog! I was much too young to be watching 'Coronation Street' when he was in it though, which must have been the 60's. My Mum watched it then, and I found it one of the most boring programmes ever! But his music was great!
5ft9.25 for Peter Noone.

I'm 5'9" (5'81/2",actually,but at 65,I've probably shrunk about a half-inch from my youthful maximum height),and Herman and I are likely the same height, though I doubt he's 195-200 like me.(We're both VERY handsome, even at our respective ages-Peter's 71 today,so happy birthday to the British lad from a black Canadian lad.)

I think 5' 9" is about right. That was the height he said he was in an interview in the mid-sixties. Keith Hopwood who played rhythm guitar with Herman's Hermits also claimed to be 5' 9" yet he was clearly a good 2" shorter than Noone.
