Robb, you need to downgrade him. I have been following CelebHeights for a year now. And, all your entries seem close-to-real if not exactly real. But, you haven't done justice with Salman's height. You need to bring him down to 5'6.75 or maybe 5'6.5. Because, the more you look at his pictures, you can see him wearing those monstrous shoes, with insoles in them. With the help of elevation, he gains 2-2.25 inches of height and stands in the most intimidating posture. Still, he looks shorter than or at par with legit 5'8 Katrina Kaif in flats.

Nobody's gonna believe it but salman is 5'5-5'6 at best, my dad met him in the 90's and he is 166 cm since it's checked during his checkups every year and in shoes salman was the same height maybe half an inch taller. He is a chronic lift wearer now and goes to 172 cm after wearing those shoes and standing in the tallest intimidating position. I wish I had photo proof but its lost somewhere completely

Aamir Khan is a 5 ft 5 chap and looks small in his films. Even without his supposed lifts it would be hard to think of Salman as under 5 ft 6!! Just look at the frame of the guy, no guy under 5 ft 7 is really going to have an upper body like that.

There is a Bollywood movie named "Andaz apna apna" which released in 1994 where he stared along side Aamir khan (who is 5'5), you can hardly see any difference in their heights and as a matter of fact Aamir Khan looks taller in a few scenes. Another Bollywood movie named "Karan Arjun" which released in 1995 where he starred along side Shah Rukh Khan who is legit 5'7.5 (I say legit because I have seen him twice in real life at the Mumbai Airport), Shah Rukh appears to be around 2 inches taller than Salman Khan in many of the scenes, especially in scene which was shot in a temple where they were required to be barefoot. When he had come into bollywood, his height was listed as 5'5'', he also apparently hit puberty at the same time as me, just him at the age of 40. Of the 3 Khan's, Shahrukh is taller, not Salman.. I'd say he is at best 5'7 (170cm), was slightly taller when he was younger (near 173cm) but due to his exercise regime, i think he lost height to gain weight..

I'm positive his height is 5'5 (165cm) without shoes (flat feet). Then add 2cm of his hair which makes it 167cm and when he wears elevator shoes (3 inches; 7 cm) his height becomes 174cm.

Shahrukh in my opinion has the ideal body for his height. So does Efron. But Stallone (5'8) and Salman (5'7.25) are a bit heavy.

I met Salman Khan at KLCC 2008 ago. it seems salman wearing lifts and he look exact the same height as my brother who wearing 3inch lifts(barefoot 171-172cm). I doubt that salman was lower than 170cm.

I am 5.6 barefoot and when I met salman around 6 months ago I was wearing 1 inch boot so I was at that time 5.7 and salman khan after around 2 inch heel he was still a inch or more shorter then me so I guess he is not taller then 5.5 at its peak or as far as I was standing right beside him I guess he is not even taller then 5.45

Editor Rob sometimes people guess someone from a few feet away and that person can definitely appear shorter than when they are 1 feet away, right up close. I'm sure a good proportion of real sightings of actors can give any of them a few inches shorter than they really are - especially as a lot of them don't want bothered when trying to get on with things in their life. Keep their head down walking along and suddenly a person can think they are 3 inches shorter.

If you look at any of his old movies/pictures with Aamir Khan (who is was 5.5 in the 90's) he is only an inch shorter than Salman who is an inch shorter than Shahrukh Khan. Besides, if you compare him to Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar (who is 5'4.5 inches tall ), Salman can't be almost 5.8. (You just have to look at any of their old school pictures one can know the truth cause now everyone is wearing lifts)
