Editor RobI believe there has to be some correlation depending on spinal length. Also as people age their morning-evening shrinkage should decrease a bit as the discs themselves lose a little bit of thickness.

I think Jim deserves a quarter inch upgrade, he often pulls the weak 5’10 and he rarely wears thicker shoes unlike his band mates which give him an inherent disadvantage.

Well he does look short compared to Charlie Puth who is listed 5’10 on Google, same as in this website. He also visibly looks shorter than V, but V is a fan of insoles and is the master of posting. I think Jungkook is 5’8.25, 5’8.5 arguable.

I feel like with heights, you have to see it in ranges to get a feel for where they might “exactly” measure. As I’ve mentioned, there exists a low measurement and a high measurement that one can pull off. Because there is a low and a high, there has to be a middle measurement to counterbalance these two.
Let’s take Jimin for example. If we have 169 (5’6.5) as a low and 170 (5’7) as a high, he would exactly measure at 169.5 (5’6.75). Same goes for the rest of them.
Suga 169.5, 170, 170.5
J-Hope 172, 172.5, 173
JK 173, 173.5, 174
V, you could argue for 2 ranges: (174, 174.6, 175.3) or (174.6, 175.3, 176)

I think we’ve all come to a consensus that Jimin and Suga are pretty much within a fraction of each other. No arguments there.

It’s ironic because I am also this height and not only do we have similar proportions, I even have a friend at the same height as Jin (and our height comparison is pretty much the same as them). Imo there is a half inch difference between the two that can pass as unnoticeable in some instances and other times, seem very obvious. V is a flat 5’9, Jin a strong 5’9.
I gave RM a 2cm gap range because it’s hard to decipher where he would truly measure. The average guess for him on his page is 5’10.5, his listing is 5’11, his official profile states 181. And the funny thing is he can pull off all 3.
It should be noted that the difference between RM and Jin is a 3.5-4cm difference, the same as Jin and J-Hope, which I do find to be consistent.
All in all, I think @superB’s listings are relevant, but would give them a few extra cms for good measure.

You could make the case too that RM is not the full 5’11. So 5’10.75 - 1.5 = 5’9.25. Which is why I keep RM at that 180 mark (179.7-180.3 = 180). Either way, there is no wrong with keeping this listing or adding a quarter inch upgrade.

I think the highest that one member measures is the lowest another does. For example, the highest JK can pull off would be 5’8.5/174, but the lowest V can seem is around there too. And so on and so forth.

Jungkook is a little iffier, but I do think he’s at least half an inch shorter than V. He seems similar to Corden in height. Still a chance for 5’8.5 though.
