Susan's Michelle's little girl has been found, thank goodness, but now Michelle has a problem of a different kind. Her best friend, Sharon, is experiencing domestic abuse and it was Michelle who phoned the police in today's 'Classic EastEnders'. She stood up to a 5ft9.5/10 massively built bloke and she showed no fear! She has to be at least 6" smaller than Grant from what I saw.

5ft3.25.

How frightful is this? Susan's Michelle's little girl, Vicky, has gone missing, having been picked up by someone after school. The trouble is, there's been a disturbed college boy interested in Michelle, who slammed his head repeatedly against the wall until it bled in order to get Michelle's attention. I can't remember if it's him who's taken her.

I hope she shows up soon, poor kid.

It is Christmas in Vintage EastEnders too, and Michelle's poor brother, Mark, has just told his parents that he is HIV positive. (Michelle is the character played by Susan).

It makes me think, especially at this time of year, that being HIV positive is no longer the death sentence it used to be. Advancements in medicine have come on in leaps and bounds and today people who are diagnosed with this tragic illness are able to live perfectly normal lives.

This storyline really broke the mould in its day, putting paid to the stigma that being HIV positive once was. Bravo to the writers for that! πŸ‘πŸ‘

Susan gets 5ft3.5. Yes, I can definitely see the difference between Susan and Letitia, 5ft2.

I think this is spot on for Susan Tully. Only seemed a bit shorter than Sharon in Eastenders when Sharon wore higher shoes, so I think Susan is about an inch taller than Letitia Dean (Sharon).

It's just before Christmas, and that dreadful Willmot-Brown creature has turned up to hassle poor Kathy, requesting that she drops the charges. Then Susan's character, Michelle, overseas what's going on and frightens off the creep!

She's the smallest of the three, and the youngest, so it goes to show that you don't need to be tall or have heaps of experience to have ethics and display bravery and balls!

Well done 'Chelle! πŸ˜˜πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ’

I approve of the way Susan's Michelle is speaking to the doubting Thomas of a police officer after Kathy's dreadful attack on her by James Willmot-Brown.

I couldn't help but notice that Michelle's supportive Gran, Louise Beale, is about the same height, or nearly as tall as Michelle herself! That means that she might well have been quite tall for her generation - say 5ft5.

This time round Susan Tully gets a wee bit more - 5ft3.25. She seems noticeably taller than Sharon (Letitia Dean).

Michelle Fowler, Sharon and Angie Watts... they are all after the character Lofty in the early 'Eastenders'! All of them are 5ft2-3, but he's much taller, hence his name!

He's hardly an Adonis! Maybe they enjoy looking up to their males?

5ft3 for Ms Tully!

πŸ‡πŸŒ½! And maybe I could too!

@ Gladstone Screwer - Hi! I came along here to comment on Susan Tully, having just watched the first ever couple of 'Eastenders' episodes, as they are all being repeated on the 'Drama' Channel, starting today. There was a fair amount of drunkenness in the second episode, and I didn't find it a very enthralling watch, to be quite honest. But I did notice Susan Tully, fresh out of 'Grange Hill', and sporting the same hairstyle. I thought she looked 5ft3 or thereabouts, certainly not below it, so I will put 5ft3 and a quarter for her.

I hope everything went well with your ultrasound last December. I have had a few of those myself, including this year, as I am under the care of a hospital in Denmark Hill, which is very efficient indeed. Last time I arrived, which was 27th July, I felt car sick from the taxi ride, which had been speeding like nobody's business, and my blood pressure was very high. I didn't ask for help, but a volunteer homed in on my paleness and shakiness, and they were really bloody good! I couldn't have asked for better help, and the thing is, I didn't even ask - it's not my way! Compared to some experiences I've had, they get 10 out of 10!

How'd the old sweetcorn then? I hope he bides fine, as indeed you too! I have been watching the first 'Fast Show' series today, as well as vintage 'Eastenders'. Cheers Gladstone, and I sincerely wish for you to catch this sooner than it took me to read your comment to me! (8-and-a-half months!)

What about the actress who plays Michelle Fowler at the moment how tall would she be?
Sandy Cowell said on 18/Dec/17
@ Gladstone Screwer - Hi! That 'Funland' series sounds so interesting AND I FLIPPIN' WELL MISSED IT!! I will see if I can find anything out about it on the internet though!

Half an inch is half an inch, and when you're a small person, like I am, it counts! In heels, I am 5ft3.25, and 5ft2.75 sounds one hell of a lot less! I'd rather not harp on about my height without shoes as it's Christmas!

You, at 6ft1, wouldn't sniff at another half-inch, but I have a sneaking suspicion that you just might be talking about inches of a different variety! You should go to your local gardening suppliers and tell them that you are eager to achieve a nice long piece of sweetcorn, for it is one of your horticultural interests, so would they kindly recommend the best fertilizer! Who could say "no!" to a request like that? πŸŒ½πŸ˜‰

Have a good, merry, Christmassy week, my friend! πŸŽ„πŸŽ…πŸŽ

What a great idea to add Susan Tully to Celebheights! I remember her just as much for playing rebellious schoolgirl Suzanne in 'Grange Hill' as I do for playing gymslip Mum Michelle in EastEnders. Michelle famously fell pregnant to Dennis Watts, who was thereafter named 'Dirty Den', for his dalliance with his daughter's best friend, who went on to have Vicky, named deliberately after the pub that Dennis ran, which is also where Vicky was conceived!

On the height front, I thought that Susan was 5ft3. She was the same height as Letitia Dean; one could see it, and also, I read it, but read 5ft3 for the both of them. Some people might not think that half an inch is important! I've met a few myself, but I am not one of them! Half an inch notices!

It's a shame that Susan didn't resume her part as Michelle, the character who returned to Albert Square from America recently. As happens so often now, another actress is playing the part. I did notice that Susan went into the producing side of television.

Sue can have her rightful 5ft3. 5 and a huge welcome to celebheights!
