Editor RobI don't think he would fall to 5ft 11, but maybe 11.5 at worse. A lot of folk in 5ft 11.5-11.75 range afternoon are going to claim 6ft.

From what I have seen, he consistently looks taller than Alyssa Sutherland. That leads me to believe that he is more of a solid 182cm than a weak one as he can sometimes look. I think the fact that he is quite heavy (~190lb range) and doesn't have the greatest posture can make him look shorter than he is, when he really is nearly 6' tall.

I got my picture taken with him a few months back. He is 100% 6'1, if not slightly more, I was definitely not expecting him to be that tall as he doesn't look it on TV. However remember they are all very tall on Vikings so probably looks deceiving.

I just watched Warcraft and Travis did not give off a 6 foot impression throughout the movie. Some scenes looked a little shorter than Dominic Cooper who is listed 5'9.5. I can see maybe 5'11 morning height but the rest of the day around 5'10 range.

Editor Rob no idea, I always try to mention names like this to UK organisers, but a lot of the time they don't seem to want to get guests.
One organiser (who I couldn't go to) did get some Viking guest, so it's not impossible...

Editor Rob some people are at their low by 1pm, others may still shrink another fraction...
I'm thinking of an afternoon height which is near enough your evening anyway...but for some people there could still be a fraction difference.

Editor Rob it's ok to say afternoon or evening, I think that typically covers a 1/4 inch or so.

@hijopute, you're completely right. He was listed at 180cm during his modeling years, and fairly consistently so. It says something he was listed at that by his agencies, when 5'11" guys are often given 6'0" or 6'1" listings.

My friend male modeled and was 5,10.5 and they told him he could never take it to the next level unless he grew 3 inches. Most men are actually downgraded. Like schenkenburg and Noah Mills to be 6,2 even though they are taller. This is true of the Women as well such as Karlie Kloss. All top models are legit tall and not just runway models but print and campaigns. I think they are pushing for even taller people in the industry. some of these top girls are like 6,1 or 6,2 barefoot which is insane..

I think 182 looks right for him. He's relatively tall but most of his Vikings costars are quite tall, so he looks more average. I think 180-182 range is what he can look, maybe a weak six foot.

According to the official fashion guidelines, the runway male models are within 6'0-6'2.

I've seen Fimmel listed at 5'11" on some of the agency sites, so he is definitely shorter then 6'. He looked the same height as the Swayze on "The Beast" and in premiere photos with Swayze, who was probably 5'10" at this point in his life. Fimmel is 5'10.5" max, he's nothing close to 6'.

Watching Vikings, I actually think he looks more or less a 6ft guy. Anything under 182 is just too low, as he looks 6ft next to 188 Clive Standen. For the record, I think calling 182 '6ft' is just fine, anything around half an inch is fair.

I'd say that on the extremes of what he's looked, this is probably a better look for him. That said, there is a way to look tougher and more masculine without looking so haggard/rough. This is almost like letting yourself go. He honestly looks about fix or six years older than he actually is, to me.
