Wemby is likely gonna get a 7'5+ measurement next time in the NBA. And 7'7 in shoes. I'd say leave the listing as is, until you get a side by side of him to Olivier Rivoux. Then you can determine whether Wemby needs an upgrade or downgrade. No more than 7'5, and no less than 7'4 barefoot.

@Duhon: I don’t rule it out. He was listed 7’0 in college but maybe he grew then. Not sure on Wemby either. He looks like he was under measured by spurs

NBA height measurements have been taken by barefoot since 2019 but why Edey is 224 cm and Wemby is 221 cm as been listed such long time?? they can't be lie about the height by official. KD's listing 211 cm too he isn't 211 cm he's 208 cm barefoot.

Editor RobMeasuring people that tall is a challenge! I mentioned elsewhere, a custom stadiometer for 6ft 10-8ft range would be ideal to get accurate heights of giants.

As if the 7 ft 3 and a half wasn't tall enough hehe!!! It's literally always is the case with these giants that the parents are both normal very tall range, it is as if they get together just to plan for their kids to be basketball players! His nice looking Mum looks maybe 6 ft 1 I'd guess, has a little footwear advantage it seems. You can see how he has the genetics for 7 ft but pushing 7 ft 5 and pushing 11 inches taller than Dad is definitely way beyond!!

Looking back he might even be taller than this honestly lol. 7'5" is not out of the question and he might even continue growing at 21yo. Growing into your mid 20s is rare, but with Wembys genetics I wouldn't be surprised if he makes it to 7'6".

Editor RobIf he is 7ft to 7ft 0.25 based on say a lunchtime range and if you go back to maxime Raynaud who is similar range, then 7ft 4 flat might well be still too low. I think 7ft 4.5 would be a better listing just now.

Imagine being 8 inches taller than Peter Crouch and similar build. :-) You know we and Celebheights is getting old when the site was created the same year as this guy was born, now a professional basketball player! I still think of people born in the mid 90s as kids! Like virtually all giants it seems, neither parent was really a real giant, his parents are supposedly 6 ft 6 and 6 ft 3. It's not normal for a guy to be 10 inches taller than his father. It's always the very tall mother that does it. Maybe 6 ft 3 for a woman could be considered borderline giant like 6 ft 8 for a guy but I still think more 6 ft 10 for a guy and 6 ft 5 for a woman would be more start of giant.

I find it interesting how in the FIBA 2021 U19 World Cup 19&2 month year old Zach Edey was listed as 220cm and 17&7 month year old Victor Wembanyama as 219cm when Victor appears to be taller in the photo Canson provider below
