The Internet is full of lies. It’s funny, recently my publicist sent me this Rolling Stone article [that I appear in] that’s coming out soon. It’s a very nice article; the lady was really nice, but she was very, very tall. We had a dinner interview…and in the article she says that I’m 5’2. She took like five inches off of me! She was just such a giant that she assumed everyone must be under five feet.

cara always seems to be an inch taller than her, but it's like in all of their pictures together they're always wearing some sort of lifter or heels so it gets confusing. anyways annie doesn't seem to be less than 5'7''

Ah, cool to see her on here. She is all sinew and holds a pretty good height, I've always thought she could be about 5'8" so her 'confessed' height isn't a surprise. For this album and tour, she's been wearing heels every night and shorter dresses, plus hats and that wiry hair, so it all adds to her looking a pretty tall woman.
For what it's worth, here she is with the reportedly 177 Adam Samberg

I somewhat liked what I've heard of her stuff, like that she doesn't have a public private life as well. Seemed somewhat lanky on SNL & at the Nirvana tribute at the Hall of Fame.
