Hi rob. I remember a few years ago I measured at school (age 15) at 5'9.5. And also 5 10'5 in the morning. Now I've measured myself at 5'10.5 after a gym session at 9pm. Do you think I've grown an inch and I could claim 5'11 or that im atleast a strong 5'10? No shoes for each measurement.

Editor Rob
Yeah, it sounds like it. Given you might be almost 5ft 11 at 10-11am, it's not wrong to claim it.
I think you would look taller than Bob Crane.

@Rob
Thanks this is a good addition Rob
Maybe in future Werner Klemperer as Colonel Klink
He was listed at 5'10 but he was about an inch taller than Crane
5'10.75 or 5'11 seemed fair for Klemperer
Crane 5'10-5'10.25
Will see if can find Crane next to more notable actors and I'll post back to see if 5'10.25 is justified and provide some evidence.
Max I can see him at is 5'10.5

Editor Rob
Werner did look taller.
