no i think 6'1 is impossible because he does not have a frame of a 6'1 guy ....he looks something between 177-181cm ....i dont think that he is over or under that ....my guess would be 5'11 first in the morning shrinking to 5'10 at night + wearing lifts = looking easily 6' maybe even 6'1

So how is Brad Pitt 5' 11 when David Duchovny has at least 2 inches on him in Kalifornia? The photo with Damon and Clooney tells the tale. How are you going to have that linked at the top and still say 5' 11? Even with shoes on he is barely an inch taller than the barefoot Damon and Clooney. Damon was barely an inch taller than reportedly 5' 7 Ellen. It's pretty clear that Clooney is having some fun by building up false expectations of Pitt's height. He probably has Pitt afraid to walk to the mail box without lifts. How is he still listed as 5' 11 with those pictures? Come on...

Im not a lifts expert so i dunno how much they can give but if hes under 180, he must wears very big heels to appear around the 6' mark!

I believe he is 5'11" ish as he claims but often wears clumpy shoes which makes him look close to 6'. I really think you're kidding yourself if you think he's under 5'10"! A person in his righteous mind cannot claim 5ft11 for Brad Pitt, after seeing his barefoot picture with Paltrow. Someone please re-post it here again. Rob you should even consider it making that picture a sticky since it is one of the rare, real posts about his height.

I don't want to hazard a guess at either of their heights but I would say that Brad Pitt is almost definitely taller than George Clooney, and seems to be a fair bit taller in most pictures. So I don't think they should both be listed as 180cm.

5'11" range is fair in my opinion. Yes, he has looked at low as 5'9.5" but he also looks 182 cm range a lot. 5'11" looks about right next to most. He was about four inches shorter than 6'3" David Thewlis too.

I'd also like to add that I don't mean to belittle Pitt by revealing what I believe to be his true height. But as I was present and have myself commented on Pitt's height on many occasions, I just had to mention this sighting.

The dead giveaway to me was always his pants; he never gets them hemmed properly. He needs the excess crinkly effect on the bottom to somewhat hide the obvious heel advantage on his lifts. If he got them altered to actually fit and break where they fall on his shoes, they would be way too blatant in appearance.

Pitt is a guy that is hard to pin down but also funny due to his 3-4 inch range in various photos. In some photos he looks over 6'1 and in others he looks 5'9.5. The one thing that is clear is that he wears shoe lifts. His footwear often looks strange and/or suspicious. It's actually harder than people think to get more than 2 inches from normal footwear, unless it's a specially designed shoe or the inside of the shoe is big enough for an insole over 1 inch. EVERY actor??I doubt that we can give some rule about everybody.I'd say that not every actor who's under 6'2 but people who are worried about their height would probably say something like that.There are plenty of acors who are on exact spot like exactly 5'11 or 6'0 so they don't have any problem to say that height.As for example Keanu Reeves claims 6'1 and he deserves to be described this height.My brother is 174cm at night and 176cm at morning and he claims 175cm because it's round and that's how tall he's most time during the day.And definitely not every actor under 6'2 would lie about height,you can't judge every actor by some elevator wearers.

Agreed Tarrantino looks a legit 6'2 here if you compare him to Uma Thurman and Michael Madsen. He is about an inch shorter than Madsen in other photos but Madsen looks as low as 6' here again because of his slouching!!

Dude I've seen that movie (Across the Tracks) a couple times, but I've never seen a scene in it where Rick Shroeder towered Pitt by almost 4 inches. Seriously it must have been an odd camera angle in a certain scene. Because it is obvious from watching the whole movie that they are a VERY similar height. They are both in running shoes, chucks or vans throughout the movie. Pitt's not gonna run track in lifts dude! That is one of the few movies I believe Pitt isn't lifted in, but he still manages to look maybe a half inch taller than 5'9" Rick in most scenes.

He of course could probably of had at least an inch footwear advantage on you as we know he doesn't exactly wear flats. If you were in low heeled footwear and he in boots, there's at least an inch of that 1-2 inch difference between you there. But I guess 12 years ago and well before celebheights, you easily could have been distracted by his disproportionately big arms or a little starstruck in general to start investigating his footwear. Yes, I met Brad when I worked at Disney...he was taller than me at 5'9" and I'd guess him somewhere around 5'10 but not taller than 5'11, but he was so thin that it was definitely deceiving because his arms were extremely big for the rest of his body. In a short sleeve t-shirt, they looked really huge. It really threw off my perception of how big he was. I'd guess his weight around 175 at that time, but this was about 12 years ago. Wow, Carl weathers appears to have lost some height.. 2nd truth, your estimation is totally off man.. Pitt is 100% no shorter then 5-9 or 5-9.5.. No shorter.. Just because youre 5-8 doesnt make pitt 5-8. I'm 5-8.5 and never appear that tall. Even in big 2" biker boots i have.. Granted I'm pretty stocky at 194lbs, but trust me.. For pitt to look as tall as he does, he cant be any shorter then 5-9 and I know everyone here agrees with that.. Youre the only person trying to downgrade pitt to 5-8. get over it.. thats too short.. I can tell you the brand and model of five of the last six boots he's worn since 2005, and none of them are custom " MONSTERS".. They are all designer boots.. The boots he's wearing here are Fall/winter 2009 Guidi reverse cordovan front zip boots.. I owned a pair and i can 100% tell you the boots cannot take more then 1.25" lifts inside.. IMPOSSIBLE to fit anything bigger.. Now, look at his legs. they dont even look as long as they do when he has big lifts inside, and his toe isnt even angled strangely as it has on other occasions. Brad's not even six foot and doesn't even claim to be. 5'11" is hardly 6'3" guys. The outrage shown here lol. I don't know why it winds so many people up. I think they want him to be much shorter to feel better about their own unspectacular heights. 90% of the time he looks 5'11" range and looks 182cm more often than he looks 176cm.
