i feel the chanses are stronger that he is a weak 6 footer than a strong. in the photo with cena if you zoom in there is at most 2 cm beetween them. But i feel cena is closer to 185 cm so 6 foot is possible for this guy

Sometimes Hunnam seem to give more of an impression of 180cm guy and sometimes he looks like a solid 183cm but can't be certain. Still undecided. Definitely not shorter than 180cm.

While it's possible to look proportional at every height, I think men in the 5'11-6'1 range, loosely speaking, tend to look more proportional than men at other heights. That's the case with any height, a 6'2 can have the torso of a 6'4 guy, a 5'6 can have the legs of a 5'8, etc. There isn't a height that tends to be more 'proportional' (at the far ends of the spectrum, little people & those with abnormal growth, they can often have different proportions thou)

Hunnam is a clean six-footer, which means he is within 1/8th of an inch of the six-foot mark. He is also quite well-proportioned.
I have noticed that a lot of 5'10-5'11 guys either have the same leg or torso length as six-footers but obviously not both simultaneously. I wonder if that's why six-footers can appear more attractive, all else being equal; an inch or two is a small difference after all. It could be that six-footers were slightly healthier in the growing phase and consequently ended up better proportioned and slightly taller. It's an interesting hypothesis, in any case.

I just rewatched the SOA. The first episode johnny Lewis 5'10 is same height as Hunnam. Then as the show goes on Hunnam and Perlman start getting taller. Hunnams white sneakers look like they have 2 inch heels and Perlman ends up wearing caterpillar stilt boots by season 6. I would guess Hunnam somewhere between 5'10.5 and 5'11. Perlman was probably 6 foot at one time but now with his bad neck posture around 5'11.

Since Robert Pattison is listed as 6ft 0.25in, It's hard to think that Charlie is really below that mark (I also saw him in person during the Pacific Rim premiere in London).

I'd perhaps go with 5ft 11.75in. That's the height he looks with 6ft 2.75in Idris Elba imo - with a slightly better posture and a slight footwear-advantage. 6ft-6ft 0.25in is more his morning height I recon, perhaps a smidge over after waking.

Could be taller because of his body proportion. Small head and very long legs make his upper body look small. And the way he walks, he doesn't have a up-straight posture like Stephen Amell. In SOA he wears sneakers while others wear boots, there is not that much of height difference between him and Ron Perlman. So I think he is not below 6'.

He should be downgraded. Look at Pacific Rim with Diego Klattenhoff who plays his Twin brother. Diego is listed 180cm and its a genorous listing. And Hunnam in the Movie clearly is not 3cm taller.

Hunnam is only 5'9" maybe 5'9.5" Another thing that makes people look taller, is how skinny they are. Hunnam is not that muscular,he has an average athletic type build and he's no more than 160lbs. Also, look at him in relation to Henry Rollins on the second season of SOA,he's only an inch taller than rollins, who is 5'8" in regular shoes and probably close to 5'8.5" in boots. I met Rollins back in 2010 after one of his spken word events, he was only a half inch shorter than I, so definately a solid 5'8", which would also confirm Hunnams height to be 5'9" or 5'9.5"

Editor Rob he didn't look as tall against Elijah as you'd expect in the film, but I think maybe outwith the film he had more height, there's pictures out there with Charlie standing tall beside elijah and he looks 6ft range.

I've had the pleasure of meeting him last weekend. He is tall, 6' 1" is probably very close. He was not wearing boots. And he felt pretty solid, too. Tall, muscular, and just as gorgeous in person!

I would say that Charlie is a solid 6'1". He's a bit taller than Ron Pealman in Sons of Anarchy, and he wears shoes instead of boots like most of the other guys, but is still noticeably tall.

if you pay attention to Sons of Anarchy, when Agent Stahl is looking through Jax's (Charlie Hunnam) police file in S1E3, it lists his height as 6'1". not sure if this is accurate just because they might have changed his height there for the purposes of the show, but it seems accurate to me.

I'm confused. Catching the occasional episode of Sons of Anarchy, he clearly looks shorter than Ron Perlman who you have listed at 6' even. Sometimes, his posture isn't that great but he usually does look around an inch short. 5'11" seems more likely for him.

i stood next to him for quite some time and had a conversation with him at my bar a few weeks back, and he might BARELY be scratching the surface of six foot with his ever present white sneakers on...granted, im 6'3" in boots, so i might have been mis-judging his height, but 6 foot sounds about right...GREAT guy though...one of the nicest actors i have ever met in my life...very humble and appreciative...

In Green Street, There is a shot in the beginning where the West Ham boys are facing the Spurs boys, and by looking at Charlie he easily looks a strong 183cms (6 foot). He wears adidas or some sports trainers which look 0.5-1 inch so I would say he is 6 foot 1 (185cms) mostly during the film.

When I met Hunnam in 2002 he was taller than my brother who is 5'11"...so slouching or not next to Elijah I say definitely that Hunnam height is some where between 6' and 6'1" but closer to the latter.

Just saw Green Street Hooligans(great movie) and Hunnam easily looked this height, he dwarfed Frodo Baggins, by more than 4 inches. If my memory serves me well, Wood was wearing big thick soled work boots, while Hunnam wore something like Addidas or Asics flat soled trainers.
