Rob how tall would estimate his son Barron to be right now? This photo was just taken Click Here. You have President Trump currently at 6' 0 1/2", I think he could be a weak 6' 1" if he stands up completely straight he would be probably be the same height as Obama, if not a little taller. Doesn't Barron look almost the same height as him? This kid could possibly grow to 6' 5"-6' 6" range. My one of cousins was like that also. His dad is 6' 1", mom's 5' 11" and he's like 6' 6".

I'm gonna assume that saying Trump was 6'4" was probably ridiculous. I think his 6'3" medical report measurements were in shoes and he's 6'2" - 6'2 1/2" barefoot and maybe 6'2 1/2" peak. He doesn't seem like he lost a lot of height. Maybe 6'3" peak

That's not a credible nor justifyable picture as Trump is standing considerably further away from the camera than Jeb.
But I still think that Trump is a decent 6-0 or an incredibly week 6-1 nevertheless. He does tend to slouch alot and has bad posture which might make him appear 181cm from time-to-time.

The latest physical examination trump has had (February 2019) according to the Washington Post potentially has him back up to 6’3”....nice to know you can still gain height in your 70’s...
Reading the link in ‘AlexM’s’ post below, and how hand size to height is a fairly constant ratio (trump would be 99th percentile in height - at the tall end - but his verified hand size is 15th percentile at the small end), and skeletal differences that large border on the impossible (using lifts also explains his expensive and oddly ill fitting suits), the likelihood is trump is inarguably under 6’
Rob, you are going to have to open up the options for ‘max height’ and ‘current guess’ - downward - on this one....

Tallness runs in the Trump family. His son looks like he's a giant. His wife is 5'11", one of his sons are 6'1" and another is 6'5". I doubt Trump is anything under 6'1" even at 72. He was at least 6'2" 100% at his peak. He looks like he did maintain his height well, maybe if he stands up straight he's still 6'2" or even still 6'3" in shoes. He is NOT short, if you look at him at meet and greets he does have to look down at most of the people he talks to!

Rob, how tall do you think Israel prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu is? You have said in the past no more then 5'10 but these days he looks below 5'10. Also can you estimate his peak height? many photos of him from the 90's on google(he was prime minister in 1996) and I believe he was taller back then. He is 69 years old these days so maybe he lost 1-2 cm from his peak.

@Rob: That's an interesting point about the more innocuous lies. Truthful leaders now sounds like a pipe dream, but it really is the minimum people should demand. Trump's stubborn insistence he's 6'3" doesn't help anything other than his ego. It just provides his opponents with more ammo.

He certainly wasn't anything below 187 at his peak. I'd say 188 cm in his prime is as close as you can get. However, today he could be heading towards a flat 6'. I'd say 184 cm is more likely than 183 or 185, considering he doesn't look a full inch shorter than Obama, when stood with better posture. His posture is absolutely AWFUL though!

He really does look around Obama's height, who I'd argue as a strong 6'1", and place Trump at 6'0.75" tall. He was probably 6'2"-6'2.5" in his younger days but he's definitely lost height due to his terrible diet, older age and no penchant and value for exercising. There's certainly no point arguing under 6'0" for the man at any point during the day. The lowest he could reach is 184cm during the day.

Those that try to "downgrade" a celebs' height, more often use pictures/age, and other "evidence" to back up with facts, what they are stating.

Some people lose height through spine curvature in upper back which others might think is poor posture - it's simply the spine has curved and they are now unable to straighten it.

Of course, one would have to assume 1. the camera was set up to provide the most accurate, even distance from the line in total; 2. the ground itself was ultimately level.
The horizon you see, is easily a fact of the curve of the shoreline, relative to the edge of the hill, the water, etc.
Short (pun intended) answer - my original post still stands. Cancel out all the mens' shoes as being probably similar in adding height, take the base height of the tallest person their, and measure against the rest.
