I saw that documentary James I was thinking ''WTF 7'5? this guy looks more 7'0-7'1'' and sure enough he was 6'10''. I think people were asking for pictures because he said 7'5...and for some reason they believed him. Now if I saw 7'9'' Bao Xishun...THEN I would want to get a picture!

Yesterday I had 2 guys come in to my shop, at different times, who were in the 6'9"-7 foot range. I served one of them, he was maybe 6'10" (so hard to tell) and skinny as a rake. Crazy.

I remember Arnie made a guest appereanence in Smackdown on December 1999 and he looked around the same height as 6ft2 Triple H.

Clay, yea. Today at school I saw a couple of very tall kids including one who was at least 6'9, if not 6'10. Then a few others who were in the 6'4-6'6 range. It depends on the day, Sometimes I'll not see a guy over 6'2 but if that happens its usually when I am not out much during the day.

Over 6'6'' is rare. Then again I have a guy 6'8-6'9 who comes into my store daily, and a 6'7 guy who works out at the same times I do, so im seeing the tall ****s all the time.

Big Show, IIRC Arnold also met Billy Gunn on that Smackdown episode, with Gunn towering over him (it looked like at least 4 inches). It could have been a pic on WWE.com as well.
That had to be on WWE.com as it's not in that Smackdown episode. Billy Gunn had about an inch on The Rock and about 2 inches on Triple H. The guy towered over Chyna, so I'd say he's a minimum of 6'3.5 (but I'm leaning towards 6'4).
He therefore would have several inches on Schwarzenegger.

I'll see guys 6'2-6'3 everyday almost but 6'4 is more rarer. Normally when I see someone 6'4 or taller its in a mall or where there are a lot of people. Then sometimes I may just see a 6'4 plus walking down the street.

While I have lean muscle, at the same time I have some bulk muscle too.
Height really doesn't get you girls or looks for that matter. Its about self confidence. Never easy to just walk up to a girl, its always been tough for me to to do. But most girls of any height prefer guys in the 5'10-6'2 range.

This is a interesting read concerning Arnold's height. The last paragraph makes sense. Arnold's legs were long for someone his height, and seeing as the most height you lose during old age is in the spine, his height will not be affected that much by old age.
Schwarzenegger was supposedly measured in his early days at a height of 6'1.5. If 6'1.5 was his peak, I'd say he would still be a good 6'1 in 1999.

Morg, actually I dont consider myself slim. I consider myself medium build but built at the same time. But I can look lean and big at the same time and because my waist isn't big is why I may look less sometimes, but a lot of time I get guessed at 15-16 stone.

6-4 is nothing. I`ll see every day lots of 6-4 -guys. It`s tall but not "giant" like some people seem to think. 6-5 is very tall but not rare by no means. Let`s say over 6-6 is somewhat "rare"... And I live in a small town in a small country. Im 6-2 and Im on the taller side of course but there`s a great number of people that I meet every day and who are clearly taller than me, no doubts...

Alex, there are loads of pics and vids that put him to at least 6'3, this with arnold is another one, arnold was not at peak height problaby but still is a big man and would be around 6'1 at that time I guess, this was almost 10 years ago, today he is problaby around 6'.

Normally the very tallest guys I'll see walking the streets are 6'7-6'8. Then even more rare are over 6'8. Its not VERY rare to see guys 6'4-6'6 on the street. One kid at college is around 6'10 legit.

At my height I feel like taller than 99 percent of population on average because some days I'm the tallest where I go , Some days I'm one of the tallest because I see few guys around my height . In several month I could encounter a guy taller than me but not more than few inches lile 6-7 or 6-8 tops but that's very rare to see.

Viper, thats insane to be 6'3 1/2 and pegged at 6'10. I can only see that if its by a younger kid. Once in middle school there was this teacher who was a legit 6'4-6'5 and I thought he was 7'0 but I was much shorter than I am right now so he looked taller than he really was.

I've been measured in the evening at 5'11.75 or as high as 6'0.25. Supposably my friend measured me at 6'1.25 out of bed once but I think thats a mistake because I've never gotten over 6'1 right out of bed myself.

When you're in the 6'1-6'3 range you should be taller than most you come by and even more so in the 6'4-6'6 range but at 6'8 plus I think you'll just about always be the tallest guy around where ever you go.

I told Rob several times that Dwayne Johnson has almost the same height as Kevin Durand but Rob won't listen. I guess Johnson could be at almost 6'4" and Durand at 6'5 1/2". There were only 1.5" difference between them. And about Hulk Hogan. Hogan looked only a half inch taller than the Rock. If Johnson claimed 6'4" then Hogan is barely 6'5" which sounds somehow impossible too. 6'5" people stand out because of their tall height but Hogan and Johnson don't stand out. So if Johnson is 6'3 1/2" then there would be a possibility that Hogan could reach maybe 6'4" at least.

Knoxville is 6'0-6'0 1/2. I think Rock had at least 2 inches on him. Rock had a good couple inches on Sean William Scott who is 5'10-5'10 1/2 since Knoxville had 2 inches on him in Dukes of Hazzard in many shots. It puts Rock between 6'2 and 6'3 again.

Seeing Phelps at the olympics I wouldn't have said under 6'3 but maybe it was certain low camera angles to make him appear taller. But with Kobe who is 6'5 give or take 1/4 Phelps looks 5-6 inches shorter than him. Phelps at 5'11-6'0 is just hard to believe.

in the states in Big Dept. stores we always have a section for BIG & TALL !

you live in , then I suggest that you go there and check-out the boots that
are in the 13 to 14 range ( The Rock's size ) . You will see that even normal
boots without any special heels will still have between 1.25 to 1.5 inches
thick soles in them just because it comes with the design . It was the very
same kind of boots the Rock was wearing in the photo above ! I hope I had

Regarding Phelps:
"He has the prototypical swimmer body, he has an extremely long torso; that of a 6 foot 8 person. Whereas his legs are shorter, only that of a 6 foot person. This helps him keep his head above water in his signature event, the 100M butterfly."
Phelps' height probably has a huge fluctuation range due to the sheer length of his spine. I wouldn't be surprised if he's like 6'4.5" in the morning and 6'3" by night.

I know backstage isn't the most realiable but check this video out with Rock and Kurt Angle. Rock looks no more than 6'2 here. Its almost like me and Rock have the same height over Angle based on this video to the picture I had with Angle, weird. But its just a video backstage so we can't be for sure. But I've seen these 2 in the ring and it didn't look much more of a difference then it is here.

Someone can claim 6'4, it doesn't mean they're def over 6'3. I know a guy who claims 6'4 still and really got measured at 6'2 1/2. Plenty of people who claim 6'4 really end up being 6'2 to 6'3 tops. I think thats the Rock's case. He's claiming 6'4 but is really 6'3 at the most.
