@Rob: Hi Rob, the general consensus is that Eric isn't what he's listed here, including you. Will there be a downgrade to 6'3.5? There has to be at least a quarter-inch downgrade because 6'3.75 is the max he can measure, but I doubt it considering how he looks with his father who might even be 6'0 flat now.

I don’t get why people do that especially knowing that there are honest people out there that claim their real height and don’t lie. Hello! Thank you for taking the trouble to voice your very interesting opinion! Yes, anything and everything is being regarded as a reason to be famous these days! Is it such a bad thing, what with the internet enabling people to reach out to others about what makes them tick? After much chewing over, I have come to the conclusion that if it makes people happy and fulfilled, then why not?
More and more people, youngsters especially but by no means only, are looking for recognition of some kind. We only have to look at the many talent programmes on our TV's right now in order to see that! But with shows like 'The X Factor' and 'Britain's/America's Got Talent', the majority of contestants go home broken-hearted. By finding fame on 'You Tube' or whatever medium they choose, it is a way of showing the world that they matter and wish to be known,for what ever they takes their fancy, and if that gives these people satisfaction and excitement, which it clearly does, then it has to be a good thing. A very good thing indeed!

Could just be commonplace to give height in shoes, since wife gives a "shoeless" height (not wanting to claim 6'0").
I have a 6'6" guy working with me, and he towers me at 6'1". Eric doesn't tower 6' people the same way, so I would say 6'4" is the safer bet. It's amazing how much different each inch makes when you are face to face. A guy who is 1" above or below, you know you edge or are edged, but there's nothing awkward in the eye levels - but 2" and more you quickly feel either short/tall by comparison.
As for the jabs lying about height, Trump was close to 6'3" as a young guy. Definitely a strong 6'2" ("in shoes" height of 6'3") and still 6'1" today. If you think any guy over 50 or 60 wants to concede that inch loss you've not known a lot of men!
