abhishek, I accept the heights that you have listed, I have always suspected that Hritik was around 5'8 barefoot and not any taller. His wife said he was 5'10 and to me she added two inches to his height ( like many have said on this site with many actors you subtract two inches to get their real height!)

So many would struggle to hit the 5'9 mark. The exception are Indian Sikhs - their parents are much taller and they eat meat and have much better diets and hence most males are over 5'9 ( average in India is 5'7 for a male)
So it looks like the both kings of Hollywood (Tom Cruise) and Bollywood (Shah rukh are both the same height of 5'5"

Hi mates, i met hrithik in London and I am 6'1.5 I can say quite decisively that he is no more that 5'10.5-5'11 and thats final....cuz when I shook my hand with him I had to lower my head slightly...though which may not seem very conclusive to u but one can definitely figure out the height of a person standing opposite

There is a pic with him posing with Amitabh and there was a clear difference of at least 4 inches or if not more. Amitabh is now at best 6-0, peak no more than 6-0.5, he could be as low as 5-11.5, (2cm height loss) with age!

I think he is more 5-8 than 5-9. the 5-10 claim is probably his height in boots. they measured an actor in a hindi film in his boots and gave his height as 5-10!!

Compared to 6'1.5 Amitabh, hrithik lookz a good 2 inches short. I'm almost positive he'z 5'11. Being 183cm myself, I can tell a 180-185cm frame when I see one.

I think if i take an average of ppl's opinion of hrithik's height it wud possibly be 5.11(and half probably) as most of them hav reconed his height to be in between 5.11 and 6.0 and the average wud be 5.11. wich isnt bad either.

I agree that it's very difficult to determine an actors height from seeing them solely onscreen. But from all the Hrithik movies I've seen so far, the characters have determined his height to be 6'0" tall.
It is obvious that Hrithik has long legs, a very slim waist and shorter upper body than average. But I think because of these features he looks quite tall. He is also gorgeous and has a great upper body, so 5'11"-6'0" doesn't make a difference at all.
So unless somebody in Mumbia nabs him and measures his height, lets just agree he's 6'0". :o)

Sarath, don't be foolish. According to you, 5'10 is a perfect height for a male because your from South Asia, where the average height for a male rarely exceeds 5'7. Get used to reality though. 6 feet is just as common here in North America as 5'7 is for males in India. A perfect height would be 6'2.

Guys, you really can not guess some one's height when he/she is on the camera...its so difficult to gauge the angle...the best way is to see them in person and then you will know...chill!!!

I saw Hritik at Mumbai airport he was on the same flight (BA0142 to LHR) as I was. I came across Hritik almost 4-5 times. Priyanka Chopra was also there. Priyanka is not taller than me (I am 5'7" exact (without shoes)...here plz note tat 99% people guess my height as 5'8" or 5'9"). @ SurReal amitabh bachchan was 6"1 in his youth now he is 6'.....6"1 was a big deal in the 70's..now its not that big... besides all the actors were very short when amitabh entered the industry... they listed him at 6"3 so that the smaller guys don't feel bad ;)....and yeah i still strongly beleive that hritik is 5"9 :)

I have to say, this picture is one of the best, as it shows John Abraham in full length beside a pair of air hostesses. John is wearing very thick soled boots as you can see (probably a good 1.5 inches). Seeing this, I've changed my perception of him; I believe he's 6'0 on the dot, NOT 6'1. Eventhough I love Hrithik, I gotta say that he's probably not more then 5'10" only because after watching a lot of movies with him standing upto other tall actors such as Mr. Bachchan, Kiran Kumar, Abhishek, Sanjay Dutt you can tell that he is shorter then them all. Well I am only 5'8 but when I have my wolverine boots on, I am easily 5'10"...so you cannot judge people's height from pictures or by comparing them standing next to somebody else in pictures...I would say Hrithik is NOT very tall but with his lean body and long neck even if he is 5'10" he can look very tall. Besides 5'10" is not short. Just put two inches of shoes, he will be 6'...

i have just come back from the bollywood legends doll launch in londons harrods shop. i saw hrithik with kajol. hrithik walked around for a while and he shook my hands. i am 5.10 tall. i can honestly say that hrithik is defintely 5.10 or a bit taller, but he is no way 6ft or 5.11. i can defintly say that upen patel is very likely to be 5.9 and at max 5.10

Hrithik cannot be 5 feet 11. He is was standing alongside one of the Gladrags 2000 participants who was 6.2" and he looked a good 3 inch shorter than them even with his heels on. He looks tall because he is really lean and has that long neck. I bet he is not a single inch taller than 5.10"

i agree with DAN!!! abhishek bachhan is no way 6'2. always when he is see with his father, amitabh bachchan, he is the same height as him. but knowing that his father is over 60 he has lost maybe .5 inch. as i've said in many other posts, and many people have agreed with me, that amitabh bachchan is no more than 6' now, maybe 6'.5 in his prime. my proof is when i met him in new delhi about 7 years abo with my brother who is 6' barefoot. he stood next to him while they both saw who was taller as a joke, since he was 15 at the time and 6 barefoot is really tall for and indian man and he was just 15. they were the same height except amitabh's hair was a little more puffy than his, didn't make a difference though. knowing this his son is only 6 barefoot mabey a tad less, but lets just say 6. that leaves rani less than 5 which she looks, more like 4'10.5 or something. you can tell when all these indian actors stand next to women from north america, who are 5'4-5'5 range, they just don't seem like there acting heights. as for my brother who is now 6'3 and when he stands next to my mother who is 5'4 he seems about head taller and bit more.

Hrithik roshan's height vary's from 5'9.5 to 5'10.5 ive compared his height to 5'4 preity zinta and there is only a 4 to 5 inch difference all inidan actors exaggerate their height to about 2 inches but in reality they are fairly short

Having met the guy in person i think this height is accurate. I'm 5"10 and he was quite a bit taller than me - which I'll chalk up to shoes :)
