It just goes to show. I used to state on here how Hogan had 2-3 inches on Jesse in the 80's and I wasn't wrong. BTW, Jesse isn't short by any means. There is a pic of him and Bill Clinton floating around, where Jesse has him by at least 2" and Bill Clinton is about 6'2". Hogan was at least 6'6" back in the day.

If you're interested in seeing how big Andre's head was, check out them movie "The Princess Bride". The scene wear the man in black (just in case someone hasnt seen the movie i dont want to give anything away) is choking Andre, they're heads are right next to each other. It's incredible how large Andre's head was.

Viper, how long is your head from top of it to bottom of chin? Mine is about 9 inches. Gotta check to make sure. From the top of your head to eye level is more than mine but we still may have the same size head.

Andre's head 6 inches, thats crazy if its true. Mine is about 4.5, maybe even 4 inches. I have an average size forehead but my entire head is 8.5-9 inches.

I'm at least on the 5 mark, maybe slightly over. I often have a problem finding hats that fit. :/ We got teeny weeny heads compared to poor old Andre, though!

My dad lost some height, when he was 60 he had lost almost 2 inches of height and he hasn't been wrestling. So it's not out of the question that Hogan has shrunk. 6'7 however seems out of the question. My guess is a solid 6'5 for his peak.
Jason you're right... when I remeasured my forehead down to my eye-level it was closer to 5 inches than the 4.5 I thought I had. So Andre has got to have had close to 6 inches on Hogan...but this poses an interesting question... was Hogan only 6'4 at wrestlemania? or was Andre in fact closer to 6'11 at wrestlemania 3 where he already looked like he had lost som height? It's a tough call... a theory could be that Hogan was indeed 6'5 back then and Andre 6'10.5... some thoughts on this anyone?

Did he have any vertebrae fused? That is quite unusual to lose that much height. 2 1/2 inches.
And I am no doctor, but I am not certain if knee surgeries affect one's height.

I would say Andre's top of head to eye level would have been around 6''. Mine's a full 5'' and Andre's head was bigger than mine lol. Andre had an immense forehead, more than just a mere half an inch on the average guy.

I can't see his eye level being more than 5 inches from the top of his head. Andre was then 6'10, but I tell you by the early 90's Andre didn't look anything over 6'9.

Hogan was at Andre's eye-level and his head was huge. Now, I'm 6'2.5 and the distance from the top of MY head is 4.5 inches, isn't it safe to assume Andre had a bigger head than I do?
I think he was between 5 and 5.5 inches taller than Hogan and if Hogan was roughly 6'5 back then it's safe to assume Andre was 6'10-6'10.5. At least that's an argument that sounds plausible to me.
As for Hogan's peak I would place him at a solid 6'5" perhaps 6'5.5 in the early mornings. However the 6'6 listing seems a bit too tall. I'm a Hogan fan, but I have to be realistic too. He looks more 6'3-6'4 now.

I also agree that Hogan could be as short as 6'3 since rodman is 3 inches or so taller then Hulk. Thats why I told you guys to watch that video. I am a hogan fan and was amazed when I watched that video of Hogan looking about 6'3 or less.

I agree Jason. I find it hard to beleive he was ever 6-5 plus. I think he might have lost an inch to an inch and a half possibly. Could have been 6-4 at his peak.

The first time I found out Hogan wasn't as tall as I'd been lead to believe was in 2000 when a question and answers thing in Powerslam magazine said although he was billed by the WWF as 6'8'' he was actually 6'4''.

Looked 1 inch between Rodman and Nash to me, but I won't argue with 1 1/2. If Rodman is 6'6 1/2'', that puts Nash at 6'8''. If Rodman is just a flat 6'6'' then Nash is 6'7 1/2'', or 6'7'' if the difference is just a square inch.

They will show a match between hogan and 6'7 dennis rodman vs. The Giant and Lex Luger. 6'7 denise rodman apears 3 inches taller then hogan who is wearing cowboy boots. It seems hulk is 6'3 tops in the ninties, so he cant be 6'4 now. Game cant be 6'4

When I have my 1.5 inch sneakers on I am 1.5 inches taller. Same with my 1 inch sneakers. I always thought with boots or whatever footwear you have on unless its heels you are that same height of the heel.

I remember on another board (I can't remember what board, this was a long time ago) I read a sighting from a 6'2'' guy who said he saw Test one morning having breakfast at some place on the road and he was really suprised that Test was only like around an inch taller than him.

If the heel of a boot is 1,5 inches it doesn't give the person wearing them 1,5 inches. Just try it for yourself, you don't get the actual height of the heel. That's because the centre of the leg isn't at the back where you usually measure the sole. It's like the hypotenuse of a triangle, the height it gives you diminishes with the distance from the top of it. A 1,5 inch boot will give no more than 1 inch, at the very most.
