I think he was 1.95 m tall or more, because they already realize that Vince Vaughn has, or had the same height as him. Jeff now has 1.94 / 1.93 m due to age only, and Vince is much younger than him.

I did think 6'5.5 as well hugh although in reality he really did not look that tall in Swingers more like 6'4 3/4 (195cm) cause he had 4 inches on 184cm John Faveru.
At his peak Goldblum was a strong 6'4 not today though.

Yeah I will admit Clarkson did look a 6'5er next to Goldblum. That said though was that top gear episode filmed in the evening? I bet Goldblum is 6'3.75 (192cm) at night today. It could be a case of Goldblum being 6'3.75 and Jeremy Clarkson 6'4.5-6'4.75.

I've seen pictures of how Dolph Lundgren looks next to Jon Voight and a fairly recent one of Goldblum compared to Jon Voight and Goldlbum looks at least an inch shorter than Dolph. Voight is about 6'2", was 6'3" peak. Goldblum is only an inch taller 1.5 inches max. If Voight is 6'2.5" today then Goldblum is 6'4", defaintely no more. Doug your right , goldblum did have 2 or 3 inches on will smith in the scene from independence day where there walking in the desert . The scene i was thinking of was of them in front of the space ship in the hanger , the difference looked less than 2 inches in that scene , but maybe because goldblum was slouching . I'll say jeff is a solid 6'4" .

I'm 6'4.5" and bet he's about that. Folks our height often round DOWN to the nearest inch (I'll say 6'4", not 6'5"). He was likely 6'5" peak (explaning the Donald Sutherland / Will Smith differences) and 6'4.5" now.

Strange thing is that Goldblum often doesn't dwarf 5'8"-5'9" guys as you'd expect. I was watching him in Friends earlier and Matt le Blanc didn't look 7-8 inches shorter. 6 maybe. LeBlanc must have been wearing lifts in his scnees with Goldblum as I did notice his shoes wear pretty clunky.

i see him had a 2cm different beside Donald Sutherland in 1978 Body Snatcher. At the time Sutherland was a strong 6ft3.5, so Jeff should be 6ft4.5 in 1970s. Nowadays he does look under 6ft4.5 like 6ft3.5 to 6ft4.

OK Chad check out YouTube Independence. It is the movie trailer. Fast forward to 1:45. Goldblum and Smith walking along, near 3 inch difference. Then minimum 2 inch difference in the next scene. Will Smith is 6'2" or a little under (some people think over) and GOldblum was 6'4.5". Check those scenes and you will see Goldblum is CLEARLY taller than 6'2" or even 6'3". Yes he did have a good 3 inches on Smith. Barefoot peak for Goldblum was a likely 6'4.5". Smith was never over 6'2" in my view however gangly he looked in his younger years. 6'1.5" looks more accurate.

Perhaps he has lost an inch Glenn? WOuldn't be impossible. I doubt he is exactly as tall today as he was at his peak, but that fairly recent TV series I saw him in (can't remember the name) he looked at least 6'4" still to me.

I always thought Goldblum is a legitmate 6'4" barefoot. That is very tall indeed, taller than more than 99% of the world population. If you are a legit 6'4" barefoot then he is going to look pretty much 6'5 most of the time to people dressed as I believe he always has done. Because in Hollywood most shorter actors, even tallish ones add one-two inches on their actual height with 6'2.75" barefoot guys like Eastwood and Donald Sutherland etc claiming 6'4", a legit 6'4" could give the impression of 6'6". IN some scenes in the Jurassic Park films he looked almost 6'6" I thought.

Always looks extremely tall to me. I think its partly because of his build. Towers above most people in his films. See one of the screenshots of Jurassic Park and he looks 6'6 compared to Attenborough and the others. Certainly doesn't look that tall in the photo with Glen but he is clearly not standing fully upright. I think he is one of the few guys who are genuinely 6'4-6'4.5 barefoot which is quite rare. Definately one of the tallest actors in Hollywood.

I am 5'1 ish, and even with my sizable and totally dodgy footwear he still had to SLOUCH. He beat my friend Bret who is a solid 6'3 guy with no trouble. This guy is huge! Very nice and oh so charming.

I saw him friday evening down the block from my job (FOX NEWS). He was standing outside a playhouse talking to 2 women. He was slouched over as the women were about 5' and 5'4. He's definitely around 6'4. He seemed very nice

He worked out a time at the same gym as me, when I first saw him he looked real tall but as I got closer, he was my height 6.0ft he is skinny and looks tall, I saw no lifts.

Goldblum being 6'0 is Laughable. He is a solid 6'5. He towared over Hugh Grant in a move I saw them in the other day. In the movie Power, his head was only an inch or two below the door frame. He was wearing boots. 6'5 sounds about right.

My guess is that in his prime he was almost 6'5" and would humbly say he's 6'4". He tilts his neck quite a bit and still manages to have most people undoubtably confirm that he is 6'4" AND A HALF.

I watch jurassic Park 1 and 2 last couples of days,he looks sometimes taller than Vince Vaughn and at least 4 inches taller than Sam Neil. In most of his film and life as well he is wearing his legendary 1.5 inches boots so 6'4 in his early days possible now to be 6'3 with Glenn.

Ok so i was very board and decided to do some comparsing with 2 of my favortie actors, jeff goldblum and adam baldwin. Using their side by sides with will smith, I know this isint perfect, but it pretty much pits them at excactly the same height. Goldblum MIGHT be like 0.5-1 cm taller but his hair is bigger so its harder to tell where his head is, where as baldwins army hair cut is much easier. Click Here (yes i did feel the need to post it on both because i went to so much effort lol)

ras, Vince could very well be 6ft4ish rather than his 6ft5 claim. I have never been totally convinced that he looks a solid 6ft5 esspecially in his films or at premiers. He looked similar in height to Will Ferrel and about the same size as Jeff Goldblum in Jurrasik Park so I am not really sure about this guy. That said there has already been discussion on this page that Jeff wore healed boots throughut that film which may have slightly increased his height, I will have to watch the movie again?

It's got Goldblum dwarfing Morgan Freeman(6ft2.5) by what looks to be 3 inches, and having almost 7 inches on Tom Hanks(6ft) and 5 or so on Will Smith(6ft1.5). I really believe with shoes on Goldblum is pushing 6ft6 and I think he's probably more like 6ft4.5 or so barefoot.
That's funny James your brother thought he was that tall when he's dwarfed pretty much everybody he's shared screen time with. I first saw him in Swingers and I could tell he was a real tall guy, but wasn't 100% sure how tall. He had a good 4-5 inches on Jon Favreau who I knew was at least 6ft from seeing him in Rudy.
At times in The Lost World Vaughn looked a bit taller and at other times Goldblum did. They seem to be very evenly matched. Also Vaughn was way skinnier back then, this was coming off Swingers and he hadn't started to bulk up like he has in the last few years. He stayed skinny like that through the Pyscho remake and a movie called Clay Pigeons, but has been looking a good 25-30lbs heavier in the last 7 years or so in movies like The Break Up, Wedding Crashers, and Starsky and Hutch.
One last thing if you've ever seen The Big Chill, Goldblum is super skinny in that movie and shares screentime with Kevin Kline(6ft1.5) and has a good 4 inches on him. I can't remember his footwear in the film, but he was freaking huge in that movie and looked 6ft6 barefoot. I wouldn't doubt if he was a hair over 6ft5 back then and has lost only a half inch or so since.

Ed it's Jeff Goldblum's slim build that makes him look so tall. Because Vince has a more stockier build it makes him look not as tall on screen and in fact a few months a go I asked my brother how tall he thought Vince was and he said "6ft1". I never had any idea he was 6ft5 before I came on this site. By the way the Rock's height is 6ft3 as he is listed on this website. Oh yeah one more thing if you look at the Guiness World Records 2007 there is a section on the tallest leading actors and there is a picture of Vince Vaughn and it states that he is 6ft4.
Ed it's Jeff Goldblum's slim build that makes him look so tall. Because Vince has a more stockier build it makes him look not as tall on screen and in fact a few months a go I asked my brother how tall he thought Vince was and he said "6ft1". I never had any idea he was 6ft5 before I came on this site. By the way the Rock's height is 6ft3 as he is listed on this website. Not really Ed most of the extras were under 6feet except for Peter Stratmore who is 6ft2.5. I also noticed the warehouse scene with that huge worker guy, although it's very hard to judge he looked about 6ft8ish. yeah i saw the episode of Friends too, looked 6'5 (in shoes) so 6'4 is correct, he got a pretty rounded body so he can look shorter sometimes like 6'3 and his short neck doesnt help.

I saw him while Iwas in New York one time and I saw him walk into a store. The top of his head was about an inch away from hitting the top of the door. I think a door is supposed to be about 6'6 so that would make him 6'5

I'm willing to bet that both standing fully straight would hit the 6'5 mark, with maybe Jeff being marginally shorter. There's no doubt that both of them are very tall men, and are definitely in very similar height ranges if not the exact same height.

That Tommy Tune fellow looks to have 4 inches on Goldblum. I think he's lying about his height if he says he's 6'6''. Tune looks about 6'8''. I've never met Goldblum or seen him Fool unlike yourself but I can't believe he's only 6'2''. He's looked tall on too many films and shows to be less than 6'4''.

I met him in a bookstore and spoke to him for a minute or two back in '92. He wasn't toweringly tall, just tall. 6'2" or so. On screen he always looked maybe 6'6" to me.

Yeah, in those pictures everyone looks fairly shrimp-like next to Goldblum. He may be close to 6'5", but Vaughn still has a size advantage. Goldblum looked about 2 inches taller than Liev Schreiber and this was the only time I've seen Schreiber look short next to some one.

Jeff makes the other guys would really be a lot shorter...I'd say he has at least 2 to maybe 3 inches on Freeman. I doubt Will Smith is 6'2"..Tom Hanks looks like 5'11" max ??

Jeff is similiar to Barry Manilow bodywise, although a few inches taller, and I think Jeff works out a lot more! Jeff went out with both Geena Davies and Laura Dern, both tall girls. I think he needs to be on the same level with his women, or as near as he can get.

I met Jeff Goldblum in a sports centre in Los Angeles 14 years ago, both of us wearing trainers. I was surprised how tall he was, I'm 6'3 he was 2 inches taller, 6'5 definitely. He may have dropped half an inch over the years. He must be one of the very few celebrities that is tall.

Today I've seen again "The FLY". Jeff is huge he was almost half head taller than Geena Davis with 2 inches heel and he was barefeet.Geena is close to 6'0". He is 6'5" without doubts.

well, i saw goldblum on conan today and when conan came to welcome him, he appeared almost 1 inch taller. (maybe it was the shoes, but i don't think people that are that tall already want to be taller). Conan was complimenting him on his height as he came in (not through words, but by hand gestures). so, yeah, hes taller than conan.

I watches the repeat of him on conan and maybe he was about the same height as conan. it is hard to tell because conan is so goofy. hes not taller then conan he could be to same height. I would say goldblum is probably a solid 6'4". He has always appeared that hieght in his movies. Conan could be over 6'4" as well
