i say this because if steven seagal could have been 6ft4.25 in the 90s and goldblum i think would have edged out seagal by a tiny amount.

@Canson: Maybe, but seeing him the last few years and seeing him look no taller with Conan than Lithgow and Neeson did, I'm not certain. Goldblum has a lanky frame, which could have given the impression he was even taller. I think he was the full 6'4" and maintained it through his time on Law $ Order Criminal Intent, but he's lost noticeable height in his 60's with posture only accounting for some of this. 6'3.5" is the most he could be these days, imo. Reviewing Goldblum's Conan appearances between '98-'07, he appeared slightly taller in '98 and convincingly taller in '05 and '07, but Conan actually appeared taller in '06 and they were very close in '04. I figure Goldblum was taller, but not that much. I can see anything in the 191-192 range for Conan and 193 peak and maybe 191 current for Goldblum.

In Jurassic Park II to be specific Vince look 6'4 7/8-6'5 and Jeff look 6'4 1/4-6'4 3/8 so that is like 1.5cm between them. Some scene they can look close in height.

@Junior: I wouldn’t go less than 6’4.25 peak. He just had long limbs and the proportions of a guy maybe taller compared to other 6’4 guys. Like for example a 6’3.5 guy like Selleck doesn’t look nearly as tall but because he doesn’t have Goldblum or Neeson proportions

Chances Jeff is 6'4 3/8 (194) peak after watching his movie for over a decade since 5th grade. I would argue he could measure close to 6'3 7/8 when standing straight but posture wise he is loosing it to make himself 6'3-6'3 1/2 nowaday. He can still look 6'4 but that will be max.

Check out the new photos with chris pratt it looks nowhere near 192 vs 187. Jeff just look a fraction takler but its of course in reality more difference than the photos shoew. Pratt is legit 187 and couls be 187.5 and jeff is barely 192 today. Thats my guess. Jeff stsrt to look little shorter every year now. It could be 2 cm loss by now.

Actually I have short legs and arms but have very good posture,weigh 154 pounds and have thick hairstyle.
Add too that I wear thick shoes. If I was long limber people would probably guess me as high as 6ft

From a distance, long limbs often give the impression of being taller, but up close I don't think it's much different than someone with medium/short limbs because most people judge height by the top of your head, not by your limbs.

All I can say is he's a tall guy. Even though he has aged and grown slightly shorter throughout the years, he's still a full 1.91m at the very least, much taller than the other tall guys such as Josh Hartnett, Brandon Routh and Ben Affleck.

Until you formally measure somebody there's no way of knowing exactly what they are. Look at several of Rob's challengers like the plumber, the 189 guy and the big 6'5 er, they could all look taller than they actually measured.

From some the the films I have seen of Jeff in his prime he could look somewhere in the 6'3 area at times for example when I saw the 'the Fly' I thought he looked that range in that particular movie. 6'04.25" peak is very good. He must have been at least 1/8 inches above the 6'04" mark. However I doubt he is below 6'04", whenever he is near someone of that height he always edges them out, however slightly.

Well, there is a case for 186 for Will Smith so Goldblum at 6'4.25 and Smith at 6'1.25 might make sense. As Rampage says though I think 6'4.5" would by no means be a stretch at peak, see him with Geena Davis in heels for instance. A 194 listing is much better though.

Are we really sure about this business of getting shorter with age? I'm the same age as Jeff Goldblum and the same height, and I measured my height a few weeks ago, which is the first time I've done that since I was nineteen, and I'm the same height now as I was then, even though just about everything else about me has changed considerably. Also, can you really tell anybody's height to the nearest inch without actually measuring them? That seems a little fanciful.

Alongside Laurence Fishburne, who is a tall man (183/184 cm), Jeff seems to be about 10 cm higher than Laurence, so its average height is between 192 cm to 194 cm. Surely if Jeff Goldblum when young were measured lying down in the morning hours, the length of his body would be 196 cm or more.

He looked 6'5-6'6 in some pics with Donald Sutherland from invasion of the body snatchers... with slouched posture next too Sutherland goldblum still looked a solid 6'4.5. However with Vince Vaughn Jeff looked barely 6'4.

Yeah if Vince Vaughn was truly 6'5 then Jeff looked a solid 6'4.5 back in 1997 and looked 194cm range with 6'1-6'2 will smith. These days though I'd imagine he would measure in at 6'3.5.

I stood next to Jeff Goldblum in a deli once 20 years ago. I am 5'6" (female) and he is VERY tall. Definitely 6'4". My brother is 6'5" and he was clearly in that range. He was very goodlooking in person. Beautiful skin (granted, this was a while ago). Long legs and arms.
