I KNEW I remembered him from a particularly disturbing episode of Jimmy McGovern’s award-winning drama ‘The Street’. Entitled ‘Sean and Yvonne’, Lee plays a violent husband to Christine Bottomley’s Yvonne. Also starring Joanne Froggart, who plays Yvonne’s sister, Lee’s callous Sean pushes his luck a bit too far.

This is one episode that earned the series its 18 certificate.

I just watched an episode of "Gently", where Bacchus and Gently interviewed a wittness, and asked him to describe a man he saw in a crime scene, and the answer was "He was short, a little taller than you guys" 😁

Ingleby and Martin Shaw looked about the same height in that serie.

Lee reminds me rather of another, rather older actor! That’s not to say that he looks in any way old because he doesn’t, but I guess I’m going to have to see him act before I make my final judgement.

I can give him a positive 5ft9. That’s 9 whole inches taller that my height. Eeeeeek! 🐁
