Pravda Valeri! Mister Leo has a good height, certainly between 179 and 183 cm. I saw him on TV beside Mr Al Gore. Leo is a little bit smaller than Gore, about an inch or an inch and a half.

considering leo had 1.5 to 2 cm advantage in shoes i had 1.3 cm shoes and he had 1.25 plus he had a hat he seemed an 0.75 to 1 in taller so he was 6'0.5 in in shoes so he is 5'11 to 5'11.75 barefeet

HI mofo. In France, there is a lot of young womens who are nearly my height (179.5 cm), like 5'9" or so. I also often see 5'11" womens, sometimes more. That's why I think I'm on the average, althrough my friends says I'm tall. I have a good posture all the day, it helps me!

When you submitt the 19 year old Dicaprio pic Rob we all see that he is 5-10 next to Glenn.Then in lifts he is 6-1 and you list him at 5-11,5 while you don't have any prooves that he grow taller and he is now 6ft barefoot.I strongly believe its downgrade time if not at 179cm then at 5-11,no more than that.

Ok Miss? Valeri thanks. I think that 5'11" is a pretty good height on screen, even in life. I'm 5'10.75" and when I'm standing as tall as I can, of course with good shoes, even a 6'1" guy doesn't towers me. So Leo, even at a possibly 5'11", always appears tall on screen.

I saw a great pic in a magazine awhile back that I wish I could find. It was of Leo and Michael Moore, both in totally flat sneakers. If Moore is a legit 6', then DiCaprio is for sure 5'11.5 max. He was unquestionably shorter than Moore. There were no weird angles or anything either.

Editor Rob there's no need to lie about meeting leo, it's foolish. Nobody can be absolutely certain of a height unless the celebrity is truthful to the cm. It's all about guessing and probablity of someone being within a small range.

Editor Rob there's a lot in that range yes, 4cm/1.5 inch is a huge dress shoe, the very upper range before you should start calling the thing a cowboy heel. If it's that big, unless it's got really thick insole it would look obviously large.

i grew up 1cm 6 months or so ago for no reason and believe me when i tell you i'm one of those rare guys losing 4cm in 1 day (never less, never more).
i used to be 193cm and now i'm 194cm since about 6 months ago, so yes it is possible to grow at 27 or something, but it is more likely to happend with people above 190cm... at least that's what i noticed.

I watched Critters 3 on SCI/FI and he starred in it and looked at least 5'9,though I don't know how old he was in it since it was made in 1991. He probably grew from 5'9 to 5'11 in the early 1990s cause I don't think he is 6' either.

My dad was 191cm(6'3),he was 19 and my uncle was 182cm (5'11.5),but he was only 14 then. so in a couple of years ,when by dad came back from the army he was 195cm and my uncle shrinked to 5'10.5,he had an accident. So did three friends I can think of that are 5'6 or below. Taller friends all stopped growing later, including one who grew at 21-22. And height does matter to very many females. Funny thing is the taller you are less attractive you become. If you notice that physically men who are taller are less good looking Clive owen (long face too big) or ben affleck when compared to michael j fox or tom cruise who are much better looking in terms of looks problem is women prefer security and a big strong man is usually associated with tall height.

anthony,I havent grown pretty much in 3 years,yet I'm absolutely sure I'll grow an inch at least yet. I was 15 and I was barely 180cm,more like 179(5'10.5),next year I was the same.now I'm 5'11.25.Don't swet kid,you'll grow,it is very rare and uncommon that a gus stops growing before 18 or even 20.

One word about measuring tapes. Those plastic measuring tapes stretch over time, especially if you keep them coiled up. That means if you use an old measuring tape your height might appear around 1/2 inch shorter than it is. Use a metal measuring tape or long meter ruler.

My mom measured me at 5'5 once with a crappy, dated tape measure. A few weeks ago I got measured 5'6 1/4 by my doctor, so I felt relieved that I wasn't really that short. Though I sadly won't be getting any taller.

i did a few weeks ago.came up from 5-6 to 5-7.75 with the help of 2 people on the wooden bumpy floor,at 3am.i give up for now.

this is just a general thing, but if anybody thinks their floor might be causing undermeasuring, you could test it. Just get a 3-4foot object like plank of wood or poster tube. Put it 8 inches from wall where your heels would be and use long aerosol/video or whatever to make the mark on the wall. Sometimes getting another person helps to make sure the object is vertical.
Then measure wall mark and measure the plank. Obviously if plank is 100cm, and say the wall mark is 99.5cm you'd be shorting yourself.
